Programs: Gateway longview foundation supports the care and treatment programs offered by gateway-longview. This not-for-profit child and family service agency has been providing care, counseling, and support to countless children and families since 1890. It currently serves approximately 3,600 children from across western and central new york every day through its 18 separate support programs. It is responsible for providing the best services, with measurable outcomes, that enrich the lives of children, youth, their families and support systems. Gateway-longview has three core values, and is proud to achieve positive outcomes for its clients:1) safety for children: 96% of families had no new incidents of abuse or neglect while receiving services in the kinship preventive services program. 2) unwavering integrity in our work with clients: 308% more contacts made with birth families than required by county contract in the foster care program with 260% more contacts made with the youth then required by county contract in the foster care program. 3) affect positive change: 100% of young adults in the supervised independent living program are currently active in or have successfully completed an educational or vocational program. Also, the nonprofit agency also achieves positive results through its three guiding principles:1) integrity in all relationships: 84% of families engaged in the service plan and successfully followed treatmet recommendations in the traditional preventive services program. 2) expect, be and do the best: 100% percent of families in the visitation program achieved goal of reunification at discharge. 3) our people, our culture: 76% of the agency's employees reported that gateway embraced their individual contributions and life experiences, according to gateway-longview hr exit interview data.
