I've had the great opportunity to work with Peter for several years now and most recently to create a game to promote civic education in classrooms. Game Genius has strengthened this project with their knowledge of game design and their understanding of both the simple and complex elements that will make something infinitely more fun. This organization is a real treasure; we are so lucky to have them as partners in our work.
The whole team at Game Genius is clearly passionate about the success of other nonprofits. This is a rare group who's whole mission is to create healthy environments for other nonprofits and does so while being fun. I'm grateful to be a part of the journey!

The work of Game Genius has attracted over 1000 participants over the years and served more than 135 nonprofits in the DMV area. I am excited to be a part of their growth and support the team in the coming years.
We partnered with Game Genius to bring a scavenger hunt game to our Downtown Silver Spring farmers market. They are collaborative, creative, and supportive partners, and their programming brought an awesome activity that helped make the farmers market a more welcoming, engaging, and fun place to spend time for kids and families. We look forward to more activities and collaborations in the future!
In 2021 and 2022, I've worked with Game Genius to brainstorm and conceptualize projects incorporating play, creativity, and gamification, for 3 nonprofit organizations. They take the time to get to know the organization and its missing, as well as the goals of the particular project. Together, we've thought through programming, fundraising, and presentation to launch successful, innovative, and fun fundraisers and communications. I always leave my meetings with Game Genius energized and full of ideas. They are an amazing resource for nonprofit organizations or anyone looking to bring a fresh perspective to their work .
Game Genius helped us bring one of our organization's signature events to life in a completely new way. With their support, we were able to take an in-person simulation and turn it into a virtual game capable of engaging hundreds of stakeholders. They were easy to work with, responsive to our needs/requests, and truly went above and beyond throughout the process. With the game they helped us create, we now have a new way to generate revenue and reach a broader audience of supporters and prospects.
We partnered with Game Genius to host the 2022 District Hunt. They were so professional and creative, and the hunt was incredibly popular among our visitors. We are all still talking about it! Our collaboration with Game Genius has given us the opportunity to reimagine our own space through new eyes.

The discussion with them always sparks interesting ideas. People are open-minded here, so no matter whether you are an intern or senior member, they value both of your ideas. They are willing to let interns participate in the practical part of the project, so all the things I did here are meaningful and it taught me a lot.

Peter and the team are amazing at really helping an organization tell their story in a way that reaches constituents, donors, and the public -- and is fun! Who doesn't enjoy playing games!? Peter helped me design games for a fundraising golf tournament that weren't just your traditional "longest drive" or "hole in one" but tied each game to the mission of the organization to help players understand why they were out there that day playing golf and raising needed funds.
