FUTURO DEL ORO & CLINIC -UPDATE

THE CLINIC UPDATE:
CONSTRUCTION OF THE STRUCTURE IS COMPLETE. However; we have extensive finish work to complete, to obtain our license as a Clinic. The Clinic will have Optometry services, it will offer eye surgery for those in need and we are expecting a group of Doctors to offer Dermatology and Dental work. We will keep you advised.

HOME BUILDING PROGRAM:
September 20 Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church will bring a group of Adults to build two more homes for those in need. This group has built more than 135 Homes in the Colonia in the last 35 years and returns 2 to 4 times per year to build more. It is our hope to encourage other groups to come to Futuro Del Oro for mission work.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:
We are so very proud and happy to report that we have been able to provide 22 scholarships for elementary school children attending the February 5 elementary school in the Colonia. Mexico provides education free, but the children must have uniforms, school supplies, Books, Gymnastics outfit and Gym shoes or they can not attend school. Our Scholarship Program raises money for our Scholarship Administrator Lic. Patricia Pastrana to make the necessary purchases for each qualified family. Lic. Pastrana, receives the applications, interviews the family for qualification, ask the children to commit to study, maintaining grades and attendance.

FUNDACION FUTURO DEL ORO:
The Fundacion was organized in August of 2009. The Directors were a group of young people that had the opportunity to obtain an education through the original Futuro Del Oro Scholarship program. Under the leadership of Jonathan Davila Chong, the AC Corporation was formed, and they immediately begin to serve the children of the Colonia with Tutorial services and other educational needs. Jonathan is activating the AC Corporation and most of the original Directors are returning. Lic Patricia Pastrana will become a director for the Fundacion and Administer the Scholarship Program under the Fundacion. This will provide us the opportunity to receive Donations and Funding from Business and Individuals in Mexico and provide them with a Tax Deduction Factura for their Donation. We have many ideas for the Fundacion as we will need a steady income to support our Mission Program of Education, Health and Housing and we will be looking for your ideas and support.

WE THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Without you everything stops, PLEASE keep your support coming, we need more money to finish the Clinic. I will be making another post to raise $10,000 to complete the Clinic. PLEASE HELP US

AGAIN, THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU
Jack

Futuro Del Oro needs your support, they have a goal to raise $30,000 to build the new facility in conjunction with the Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church, Mexico Mission headed by Pastor Lissa Smith. I have visited both the old location that was sold out from under them and the new location on two occasions. Jack Hale and I met to discuss the plans and the joint vision of the two groups. The history of the Scholarship program of Futuro Del Oro and the building program of Mexico Mission says it all. Nothing but success, I pledge to support the Groups and hope you will all join me.

I have loved every minute being involved with the ministry of Futuro Del Oro. Building relationships and homes and supporting children and families in the poorest areas of Mexico. This ministry has helped us introduce people of all ages to the benefits of service which has then encouraged even more service in our local communities and neighborhoods for those in need.

A wonderful program, I visited with two of the Board Members and learned that it is a working program with many success stories. Futuro Del Oro has proven the value of the difference Education a skill or trade can make in peoples lives with little or no hope of opportunity. I have committed to supporting this program
