Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: To rescue cats from abandonment, provide rehabilitation when necessary, bring our cats and their humans together in adoption and provide a retirement sanctuary to those in need.
Programs: During the fiscal year, with a large base of volunteers, furrr feline rescue rescued around 515 cats and kittens from the local area and from over crowded shelters in the south. The cats and kittens received needed medical and social care in the shelter and through a network of foster homes. Many found forever homes. Addtionally, the organization seeks to help cats with a variety of medical and social issues by rehabilitation and needed care. In some instances, cats are provided with sanctuary care for their remaining lives in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
