Margaret is fantastic about responding to inquiries and figuring out how to connect the dots to best serve the organization. We have used Furniture Trust several times and it has worked out nicely each time. The FT has saved us lots of essential resources while provide high-quality furniture that commands respect because of the shape that it is in. Thank you!
The Furniture Trust is a great partner for other non-profit organizations. At the YMCA we provide programming and services for our community and The Furniture Trust has provided the Y with " new tables and chairs" and many other "new " items our community can enjoy. The furniture is new to us and puts a smile on everyone's face. They truly understand how to treat their partners!
Furniture Trust Organization has been a fantastic partner, helping us to serve our startups and community members. Definitely collaborating with us towards helping entrepreneurs, from all over the world, win!
We love the Furniture Trust! So much of our office needs have been served by this very non-prfit; indeed the desk and chair I am sitting in as I type!
Margaret Carels goes above and beyond to keep us in the loop as to new deliveries and options to help keep our own overhead low.
I highly recommend them to anyone in the Non-Profit sector!
“We know that, when we work as one, we move young people and communities forward. This is illustrated through our partnership with the Furniture Trust and their recent effort to help our young people. Our work with young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens is the focus for all of our efforts. We are grateful to have received new state of the art computer lab furniture to enhance and programs and services to our members.”
It is difficult to put into words what the Furniture Trust means to Medford Vocational Technical High School. Through our first collaboration as part of the Eco-Carpentry Challenge to the donations of furniture, office supplies, and lab equipment, the Furniture Trust has truly transformed our school into a welcoming learning environment for all who enter. Their tireless efforts to bring quality materials to non-profits is commendable. Many people think about giving back to the community and the earth, The Furniture Trust does it! Thank you on behalf of our entire school who have benefitted from your hard work and dedication to being a responsible organization who values the true meaning of community.
The Furniture Trust has been a wonderful help to our law incubator program, Justice Bridge Legal Center. It has helped us furnish approximately 10 offices worth of matching, quality furniture in New Bedford and a conference room in Boston. In all respects, the staff at The Furniture Trust has been kind, professional and accommodating. We could not rate our experiences with this non-profit group more highly.
The Furniture Trust is an amazing partner of Lawrence Family Development! From The Furniture Trust (TFT), our non-profit community receives amazing furniture items for our charter school, chairs and tables for our family center, refrigerators and kitchen equipment for our youth programs, and incredible executive office suites for our administrative offices. Without The Furniture Trust, our surroundings would be less efficient and attractive.......... not to mention, due to TFT's charitable support, the favorable impact on our tight budgets. For-profit employers call on The Furniture Trust to empty their no longer used furniture items and this provides for socially responsible impact on the environment while allowing non-profit organizations like ours to focus precious dollars on clients versus furnishings! Our thanks to Margaret and Dana for their contributions to www.lfdcs.org and www.lfdef.org!
Sincerely- Judith C. Marley, EdD, Assistant Superintendent

The Furniture Trust in Boston has been a tremendous help to the Providence Public Schools. Our contact there, Margaret Carels, has been an excellent resource for us. We have received hundreds of pieces of beautiful furniture that is distributed throughout our 41 buildings!
The Frederick School in Dorchester was able to work with the Furniture Trust to receive donations of furniture and artwork for our school. The experience was positive in every single way. Margaret was so friendly and helpful and she made it easy - and fun - for us to choose the right pieces for our school. We feel very lucky to have learned about the Furniture Trust. Our school now has beautiful, vibrant framed artwork on the walls and our teachers have a lovely, functional teachers' lounge with comfortable chairs and a table for lunch.
I highly recommend the Furniture Trust to nonprofit organizations and schools who are in need of gently-used furniture and art for the spaces in which they do their important work.
