The FAME organization is a vital leader and staple in the academic lives of the minority scholars it serves. FAME provides not only financial assistance but also positive encouragement and scholastic support for its students. FAME staff creates a sense of belonging for both youth and their families in a professional and non-intimidating approach which allows the scholars to keep connected to each other and the organization. FAME also apprises youth of educational opportunities outside the consortium of member schools, which affords the youth chances to participate in extra-curricular activities that stimulate cultural as well as intellectual growth.
