As a classroom teacher, I found that the photographs and videos produced by Fstop really inspired my students to explore environmentalism. It helped empowered them to see their world and to become intrinsically involved in conservation work while exposing them to the big picture connections between economics, history and the forward-looking solutions of the future.
I first met William from the fStop Foundation back in 2017. The foundation was new, and I was new to my role too. But we figured out we could partner on panther coexistence education by using their images and my background. I moved into another field of work, but always stayed in touch. I had the opportunity to come back and volunteer for the organization during the height of Covid-19, I always believed in their mission and wanted to help after all my other opportunities dried up. I was fortunate enough to have the foundation support me as a side gig for a bit, too. They are professional and skilled photographers using their expertise to support wildlife conservation. They care for their partner relationships through communication and meting partner needs. They exercise caution when expending resources and ensuring a match to their mission. I recommend them to friends, family, and my professional connections.
My wife and I donated to the Fstop Foundation for many years because of the fine work it does supporting wildlife and sharing its images and video to inspire the public to take action. The Fstop Foundation does much more than simply allocate funds to other organization or to employ its staff. Through its partnerships, Fstop magnifies its efforts to raise awareness for wildlife and the need for conservation.
In this age of being bombarded with negative video ads that try to divide us, it is really refreshing to see the videos and documentary films produced by fStop foundation.
I have donated funds to support fStop's mission of creating a positive effect in conservation through the use of photography. I'll cite two examples: The Crossings and Corridors project to help protect the Florida panther, and buying cameras used in Yellowstone National Park to study the importance of cougars to their ecosystem. Each time I donated I was rewarded with being able to see award winning photography and a warm feeling that I was supporting something important with my donation
The work that fStop Foundation does behind the scenes to create awareness of the many nature issues that Florida and other states are facing is simply outstanding! Their team works tirelessly on their many initiatives. The partnership's they have created with different organizations are making an impact that is showing concrete and measurable results! I highly recommend supporting and working with fStop Foundation.
