This festival is everything its cracked up to be. It is homegrown and run by two of the nicest guys on the planet. They really care about helping film makers get their art seen and appreciated.

I am a former grant writer for the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival. My additional responsabilities at this organization included sponsorship development, partnership building, as well as working on marketing/communication projects. I have been involved with the organization on an full time basis for four months.

I worked for the Frozen Film Festival for 4 months, where I was in charge of finding sponsorship and writting grants. This was a very enriching experience! Firstly due to the opportunity to work for&with;some great people, who are truely involved and motivated by their festival and the arts in general. Secondly, I also had the chance to be present during the main event (opening night + festival), and see with my own eyes the fantastic job the Frozen Film Festival is doing, and why it's so important for everyone that such a festival exists and expands to something even bigger. This is a great alternative film festival here in San Francisco that packs a punch with its artistic film categories and affordable movie tickets. I've gone to the festival since it began in 2006 and the opening night party and the animated shorts are my favorites.

This is an impeccably run organization, from the opening night gala, to the peerless programming. The founders are exceptionally motivated, and have a great love of the arts. Some film organizations seem to care more about established stars, but this festival really loves the little filmmaker. An absolute blast to attend, with memorable films and speakers.
