Causes: Homeless & Housing, Homeless Centers, Housing & Shelter, Human Services
Mission: To provide individuals and families who are mentally disabled and/or economically disadvantaged in Cuyahoga County with permanent supportive housing and lifelong solutions to increase self-sufficiency and independence. We realize our mission through: •Safe, affordable, housing; •Client-centered, comprehensive, case management; and •Supportive services, including life management, work force training, financial literacy, and family and individual programs.
Target demographics: Chronically Homeless
Geographic areas served: Cleveland, Ohio
Programs: Supportive housing program; Front Steps Housing and Services provides permanent supportive Housing. Special programs and assistance for homeless individuals:focused on teaching parenting skills, substance abuse prevention, developing skills to obtain and retain employment and the development of interpersonal skills.
