The associate director just shared a story with my roommate and told about the person who is be moving in with us all the details and illnesses she is facing or struggling on daily basis etc.
He broke his confidently sharing the all info. HIPAA?
He doesn’t know what the residents are talking about and his working style that he doesn’t do anything and just brushes people off foremost stealing the credit from his coworkers who really are doing their duties.
Today the first shift one was working and the other “Sleeping Beauty “ was sleeping behind the desk not even responding to open the door as soon her shift started.
this place it’s a joke.
If you r in the need I would recommend to look for another place to go and seek help.
Last few day ago a homeless person came to ask for a coffee and we were told by the director of the program we are not Dunkin Donuts. Safe safe and safe
I am not the comptroller who will be looking into the finances but for the 3 months the place it’s out of sugar, milk or even a styrofoam cups all they did leave a sign on the wall please safe your cups.
By the way is any one watching the payroll?
Please take a close look.
I should not be the one to point a finger where your attention needs to be focused on
Start cleaning the house.
Sincerely,
I would not recommend anyone to work here. They have a bad reputation and I am a fair person. I was lied to in order to take the position. I repositioned my child in a local childcare center. The management is dishonest, unprofessional, and unpleasant. Save your time and find something else.
I have had the privilege of working alongside the Friendship Center for the past 8 years, as we share many mutual clients. More recently, I joined the Board and have further seen the positive work that they do and the helpful change they are trying to create for the clients they serve. They are a profound resource in the New Britain area and continue to grow in their ability to support and foster change for those who need help.

I have had the honor and privilege of serving on the Board of Directors of the Friendship Service Center (FSC) for the past two years. During this time, I have witnessed firsthand the amazing work that this Agency performs. The staff, Board and Trustees work tirelessly to provide programs and services to the needy through its housing programs, community soup kitchen and emergency needs services. They are tasked with performing some of the most difficult work, in an effort to make the communities they serve a better place to work and live, and do so with much love, grace and pride. Without Agencies such as the FSC, the State’s most vulnerable population would not have the support that is needed to be successful in everyday life. This includes people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds from all walks of life. I am proud to be associated with the FSC and contribute both physically as a Board Member and fiscally through financial support.

I have directly served the Friendship Service Center and its clients, indirectly, over the a non-continuous 15 year timeframe as both a board member and a trustee. I am also a donor. I have also worked with the FSC staff on various projects and have observed their dedication and caring ways first hand. I have witnessed their going to the wall for the best interest of their clients be it on an individual basis or for the good of the overall organization. I am proud to be associated with this august organization and its hard working and caring staff members.
Sincerely,
Ken K.

One of my favorite events of the year is the Friendship Center's Annual Meeting. During the meeting, a few clients courageously share their stories of overcoming obstacles thanks to the help of the Friendship Center. It truly gives you the feeling that the Center lives up to it's motto of "Making Love Visible."
