Mission: Friendship Community Care, Inc. is a forward-thinking, humanitarian organization that promotes excellence and leadership in the care we offer our communities. We envision many communities where people with disabilities and others without disabilities receive quality services, thus empowering them to lead dignified lives.
Results: FCC began in 1972 with one room of pre-school children. We now serve adults and children in 9 Arkansas counties. The various needs of Arkansas families and Communities regarding assistance with elderly or developmentally disabled individuals continue to grow, FCC strives to meet those needs as they arise. We greatly need a new building to expand our resources to those we serve and have begun to enter the realm of fundraising to help accomplish this goal.
Target demographics: Friendship Community Care provides services to Arkansas children and adults with developmental disabilities as well as the elderly.
Programs: Friendship Community Care, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Arkansas Communities which include Adult Development, Pediatric Development, Case Management, Living Support, Medicaid Waiver, Supported Employment, Therapy Services, Transportation, and Work Activity opportunities. Friendship also provides Senior Citizens Services by managing housing opportunities, meals on wheels and other socially interactive events through four Senior Citizen Centers.
