Friends of Willow Tree is dedicated to individualized learning for children. We have always been treated as family. I consider one of the most important considerations when looking at education is not whether or not my children are at the top of their class, but whether or not they love learning. I truly believe that all their students love to learn. It is a safe and encouraging environment. I highly recommend them.

I am a credentialed teacher who has worked as a moderate to severe special education teacher and has facilitated cooperatives for the local homeschooling community.

The offerings that Willow Tree has made avalible to the homeschool community are incredible. I have seen the ability of instructors to differentiate learning to meet the varying needs of individual students.

I have recommended Willow Tree Learning to everyone I know who is looking for a different approach to educating their children.

I am a parent of two school age children at Willow Tree. Our children enjoy learning in a setting that is diverse in curriculum, student/staff body and activities (and boy are there a bunch). Willow Tree is teaching the core subjects such as language arts, math, social studies, and science in a multitude of ways and styles that truly target their students.

One activity, out of dozens, that comes to mind was a lesson on shelters, which had its base in social studies. The creative Willow Tree lesson pulled in math, art, public speaking, teaching through learning, tool usage, reading, handwork, research, writing, and teamwork. All this while my son, in his words, was “having a blast!”

I highly recommend what Willow Tree offers the community. They know what they are doing, and are doing a superb job!

This organization has provide so much to the development of our grandchildren, it’s difficult to summarize in a brief posting. However, I will say the growth as a whole person in both of our grandsons is all due to the balanced education and the elective classes offered at Willow Tree. The complete educational experience is teaching to every part of the human experience, body, soul and spirit.
Thank you to all of the Willow Tree staff and the community of families involved in the program.
