The Friends of Veterans, Inc. was established in 1993 as a "not for profit" organization to raise funds to help veteran related causes in Palm Beach County. They work very closely with the Palm Beach Veterans Committee to fund and execute such events as the Memorial Day event at the South Florida National Cemetery and the Veterans Day Parade.
One of the more recent causes they have become involved in is the Palm Beach Veterans Court which assists veterans that face court charges. The Palm Beach County Veterans Treatment Intervention has become a role model for many other counties, both in and out of the state of Florida.
All funds are used to assist veterans and their communities
