Mission: To support veterans with short-term financial needs.
Programs: Friends of veterans has been able to serve hundreds of veterans who may be single or have families. The veterans range from wwii vets to iraqi veterans who have just recently returned home. The help we extend includes payments to landlords for rent as well as coverage for utilities, food, and telephone on a temporary basis. The need for this help often results from the loss of employment caused by the illness of the veteran or in their immediate family.
