Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Environment, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management
Mission: To care, maintain and improve the water quality and habitats of the shiawassee river watershed; enhance the community's appreciation and knowledge of the river, especially amoung youth; and increase recreational access and respons- ible use of the shiawassee river.
Programs: Program service accomplishments to continue to clean up and remove pollutions from the shiawassee river. Program to remove garlic mustard and other non-native, invasive plant species, all programs are done with volunteer efforts, city and county partnerships and support from local businesses.
