Mission: The activities include: sponsoring a used bookstore and special projects; informing the public of resources and services of the library; securing materials which are beyond the ordinary library budget; encouraging gifts, endowments and benefits to the library; performing services deemed helpful to the library and encouraging library use to the fullest extent.
Programs: The major activity for the Friends is the used bookstore ("Book-Go-Round"). Its sales amount to approximately $135,000 per year. In addition, there are paperback sales and auctions of old books. Memberships and Contributions amount to about $45,000 per year.
