I and my nanny have been taking our kids to the Junior Museum for many years. It is right next to a park which makes it very convenient. The size of the museum is also very well adapted to small children. The collections are very varied (animals to science to live animals) and changing frequently making it an ever discovery for kids.

The Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo is a true gem in our community. It is a wonderful place for parents to take their kids to play and learn in a positive environment. My daughter loves to see all the animals at the zoo and play with the new energy exhibits. It really helps her think of how things work. The Friends organization does an amazing job of supporting the JMZ. The Friends also support a great science outreach program that allows the JMZ to reach out to kids that would normally not have access to the JMZ science programs. The Friends also put together great events for moms/dads and kids to get together and enjoy the JMZ.
