Mission: The mission of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is to keep Missoula County’s history alive for the education and enjoyment of the public. The Friends of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula was incorporated in 1977 as a 501(c)(3) organization, to support the Historical Museum in its mission to bring Western Montana history alive.
