This is a hidden treasure at the Glenview Library. The used book store is run by volunteers and has infertility collection of all genres of books with prices starting at $3 and going up to a fraction of the real cost of the book. Opened the same hours as the library. It’s worth stopping in. Oh, and did I mention they sell FVDS, CDS, and audio books. With lots and lots of children’s book for all ages through high school

For the past four years, I have volunteered at the Used Book Store, an operation that collects donated books and sells them onsite at in a dedicated space in the library..and on Amazon.com!

I love the books. I enjoy connecting with people over books. It feels great to spend quality time at the library and call it volunteering! (Also, to buy books and call it "fundraising".) This effort has been successful for Friends of the Glenview Library and is a very positive experience for me.
