Mission: The friends exist to advance the vision of the forest preserve district of dupage county through philanthropic endeavors. The money it collects through its fundraising efforts helps the district manage the county's prairies, woodlands and wetlands and offer educational programs and recreational activities countywide.
Programs: Support the forest preserve district of dupage county. Disbursements benefitted fish stockings, support for summer camps, blacksmith shop equipment, equestrian medical expenses, roundabout construction project, library shelving restoration, new paddock fencing at the equestrian center, indoor riding arena construction project, and education raptor housing construction project.
