I'm the media specialist at Addison Mizner Elementary School. Our library is currently packed up and in storage as our new school is being built. Thanks to friends of the Boca Raton Public library and specifically Janet, I've been able to put a book into the hands of every student that is unable to get to the public library. You should see their eyes light up. I make sure and tell them that the book is from 'Friends' and I tell them that there are many people out there that care about them. It makes them feel so good. Please keep the books coming.

I've been volunteering as the Sunday Speaker Series Manager for the Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library since 2017. We have organized many free educational and inspiring programs at both the Downtown Main Library and the Spanish River Library. I have enjoyed collaborating with the other volunteers and serving the needs of our community. I have recently joined the Board of Directors for FBRPL. I highly recommend supporting this great nonprofit through donations, purchases at our used bookstore and volunteering.
Friends of the Boca Raton Library is a fantastic community organization. The number of programs for adults (book clubs, Sunday speaker/music series, book store, numerous courses, etc) and children (summer reading program, children's author events, technology courses, etc) is second to none. Dues and donations help to fund educational programs at the library for preschool and elementary children from Florence Fuller Child Development Center, as well as participation in educational program sponsored by the Junior League of Boca Raton among many other projects. It is an amazing resource for our community.
