Friends of Stark Parks is an all-volunteer organization that supports the mission of the Stark County Park system. We raise money through memberships and fundraisers to support Stark Parks’ Wildlife Conservation Center, and projects not funded in the Stark Parks’ budget. One focus is several projects to provide access to the parks and water trails for individuals with developmental disabilities. 100% of donations directly support Stark Parks.

Mission: Provides support through membership drives; events to fund non-budgeted needs; promote park district through literature and special projects;also manage restricted donor funds.
Programs: Assist in trail maintenance of towpath trail and 26 county wide trails and parks. Assist in management of wildlife center, assist park system with benches, markers and other park ammenities. Also assist park system during year with the new collaborative bikesmart program debuted at 6 sites across stark county, and educational programs.
