Mission: Friends of Prescott promotes and supports community education, arts, and recreational programming for all ages, and creates gathering spaces for nonprofit, for-profit organizations and individuals alike while preserving a historic town asset, the Prescott School.
Results: Partnered with 15 town organizations and local non-profits on free programming for the public. Offered 228 Classes for Children 608 classes offered to the community overall. Summer programming for 357 children from 11 towns. Prescott is home to 9 artisans and 11 women owned businesses Partnered with the Town of Groton DEI Committee to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. and Hispanic Heritage Month. Home to popular monthly Open Mic Nights Home of Halloween Hoopla, a free Halloween party for families Home of the Community Spelling Bee
