MANY "FRIENDS" MAKE LIGHT WORK! That is our motto.
The 2017 Spring and Summer Park project was to clean and prep the flower beds in front of the the Civilian Conservation Corps Refectory building built back in 1934. Members, Melinda Terrell Routh, Gayle Meseck, Linda Whitley and her grandsons, Cohen and Tate, Ray Piner, Steve McCarty and Don Bice worked this project around their personal busy schedules from March in to August. Saving the Park and the Friends Group over $300 in indigenous lantana and yucca plants known to Bosque County, which were donated to the project.
