Friends of Madrona Marsh is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer organization whose goal is preservation, restoration, community environmental education and appropriate use of the Madrona Marsh. They provide docent lead tours for students, young children and the community. What a fantastic organization! I have learned so much about vernal pools, what are marshes and what beautiful birds visit this wonderful natural space. They are always in need of volunteers, donations and community partners to keep this precious site available to our community members for years to come!
