I have been a member of KEXP since 2001 when I first started listening to the station. KEXP provides access to the best music around, most of which can't be heard on commercial radio stations. They are committed to supporting the local music community in Seattle as well as introducing listeners to music from around the world. Being a KEXP member I feel part of a community of music fans, who despite having differing musical tastes, all agree on the importance of having access to such a valuable resource. Without KEXP, the radio waves would be a lot less interesting.
