Mission: We have two primary missions: 1. The primary mission of the Evergreen Community of Johnson County (formerly Johnson County Nursing Center) is to provide the best possible long term care services to residents including those with limited assets. The mission of our educational division, GERTI (Grow with Evergreen Resources for Transforming Innovations) is to provide clinical education opportunities in geriatrics to care providers who serve the older population.
Programs: Innovative, compassionate long-term care addressing medical, physical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs.Dedicated to resident centered care model putting resident before task. Open dining times, do not wake residents up. Choices in food, bathing, activities and strive to meet the psycho-social needs first, and medical as normal part of care. Focus on involvement with community, family and relationships.
