Mission: Friends of grand isle was formed to enhance, assist, and preserve the coastline of grand isle.
Programs: Friends of grand isle had their annual meeting at the grand isle community center on may 1, 2010. The organization was able to discuss their continued support and aid to the residents and small business owners of grand isle who have been victims of severe storms; education of property and business owners in grand isle on those issues concerning grand isle; effort to lessen the burden of government organizations in grand isle; and cultivation and promotion of civic community improvements.
