100% of all donations go to directly support children and families affected by childhood cancer. Support varies based on family need and includes financial support, family events such as an annual family picnic and Christmas train ride and fulfilling wish lists.
This charity goes above and beyond for cancer families in our community. Their unwavering support allows families a chance to have fun, pay backed bills, and provide their children with love. I am honored to be a part of the board.
I have volunteered with The Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation for several years. There are several activities that I have participated to help with fundraising and spreading awareness about childhood cancer. These include a girls softball high school softball tournament, many high school spirit weeks, Go Gold high school football games that raise awareness for pediatric cancer and Drink For A Dream fundraisers. Mary started The Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation because Faith was a first grader in her class that was diagnosed with a brain cancer. Sadly Faith passed away and before she passed she asked Mary to never let people forget her. Mary kept her promise and formed the foundation.
I also donate to this foundation because 100% of the donation goes to families struggling with a child with cancer. Families can request gift cards for gas, food, Ubers, or help to pay utility bills, car payments or rent. The Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation never hesitates to help the families or the children. Every December, Mary reserves and pays for a train car on The Polar Express for children and families to have a fun experience during the holidays. The children love the train ride with Santa.
I highly recommend The Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation for anyone who wants to donate or volunteer with pediatric cancer families.
The most caring loving and helping foundation for the children and there family. My Maverick was very loved by Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation
The Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation has helped so many families in Central Ohio over the past 12 years. They raise awareness and money for Childhood Cancer through Pajama Day in all the Westerville schools, Gold Ribbon football, baseball, and softball games at the Westerville high schools, and many other events and fundraisers. They have supported the families with gift cards, paying bills, emotional support, funeral expenses, etc. They have taken the childhood cancer patients and their families on the Polar Express train, picnics, shopping trips, etc. They donate books and blankets to the children in the hospital. They sponsor a room at the Ronald McDonald House for families. They award yearly college scholarships for two Westerville students and one for a cancer survivor. I am proud to be a volunteer for the Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation.
Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation has been such a loving force to our family during our pediatric cancer journey. From sending little goodies in the mail to make my child feel seen, and loved, to organizing an annual picnic to unite pediatric cancer families for a day of fun on the lake. Friends of Faith Pruden foundation provided Christmas presents to our child, during a year were we were struggling, and were unable to. Additionally during a very hard emotional trial associated with pediatric cancer Friends of Faith Pruden treated my daughter to a one on one adventure doing her favorite things with her favorite people. I cant say enough about the financial, and emotional support. Friends of Faith Pruden has been a light during our darkest days, and we are forever grateful.
Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation is absolutely AMAZING!! My youngest at 2yrs old was diagnosed with brain cancer. EVERYTHING stopped, and we ended up in a state we knew nothing about. Im not sure who mentioned FFPF, but I will be forever thankful. They sent us delivered food when we needed it while impatient, they sent gift cards and much much needed gas cards, they checked up on us more often then our "friends and family", they helped us get coats for all of my family because with everything going on, it had slipped my mind, and so so so much more....I cant even fully describe just how much they did for us during my sons cancer treatment, but they truly helped us stay sane during the worst time in our lives.
And even after treatment, theyve done so much for us.
I will FOREVER be grateful for Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation for ALL that theyve done for us, and all that they do for soooo many other families with children fighting an unforgiving disease.
I absolutely love this foundation. The empathy and love we have received has made such a terrible time in our lives be a little brighter with the impact.
The Friends of Faith Pruden Foundation has been a God send to not only our family, but to so many families that are affected by childhood cancer. They have provided hope, love and support during our roughest times. Along the way, we were able to participate in fun events that took a little of the sting of cancer away, if only for a few hours. I am beyond thankful for this foundation and all it does for childhood cancer patients and their families. May God bless them and their much needed work.
Friends of faith pruden has always been there in time if need, through treatment, and after passing. Always with the biggest of hugs with huge smiles behind. Friends of Faith Pruden was a major help getting through inpatient treatment, with holidays, food, books, and the list goes on! I’m grateful to have met the wonderful woman behind this foundation.
