Mission: The Friends of Edgewood Natural Preserve engages in a number of activities to restore, preserve, and protect the natural resources of San Mateo County's only natural preserve. Our volunteers strive to inspire visitors of all ages by offering hands on educational and interpretive natural history programs. The Friends of Edgewood is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 public benefit corporation funded 100% by membership dues, donations, and sales proceeds.
Target demographics: restore, preserve, and protect the natural resources of San Mateo County's only natural preserve
Geographic areas served: San Mateo County
Programs: habitat restoration, native plant preservation, endangered species protection, environmental education for children and adults, and managing the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center.
