Mission: Friends aware inc offers social, occupational, and residential opportunites in a caring atmosphere to individuals with disabilities. All individuals are challenged to realize their full potential.
Programs: Life enrichment program - the lec provides training for daily living and vocational skills. Friends aware encourages and assists individuals to participate in their communities as much as possible. Friends aware also provides subcontract work and sheltered paid employment to our clients in the vocational program.
residential/fiss/personal support/vocational training/community learning services - friends aware provides safe, comfortable, and attractive living accommodations for individuals. Support services are provided to individuals who choose to live in their families' homes, or who are capable of living on their own. These services include help with grocery shopping, bill paying, doctor visits, using public transportation, and obtaining funding to accommodate their handicap conditions.
