Eight years after adopting Riley I still get friendly messages on FB from FBR. They provide community education about this breed and provide ongoing support to the adopters and volunteers. FBR is an outstanding organization.

When my daughter was little I wanted to teach her about volunteering and charity work. We chose FBR because of the wonderful work that they do. We continue to donate monthly and are proud to share our home with a former FBR bully.

I am in awe of the work that Fresno Bully Rescue does. The staff are so loving and kind to these often scared and injured pups. They take the very best care of the dogs there, but more than that they love each one like their own. All you have to do is follow them on Facebook to see their miracles! But it's even better to visit in person and feel the love!

Fresno Billy helped me out when I found a homeless gal with a pit bull and 7 puppies living in a park. They took all puppies and found them forever homes. Thank you Fresno Billy Rescue for all you do!

We have had the pleasure of fostering for FBR. They have done amazing things for the pits in our area and in educating the public.

The couple who run this rescue have all but dedicated the 24hrs of their day, everyday, to the furr-babies of this shelter. And the people who volunteer are knowledgeable and SO happy to help volunteers and potential adopters. Our family of three FBR rescues can’t say enough positive things about this shelter

I've been volunteering at this rescue for a long time. It has brought some much needed therapy in the form of dog walks, snuggle sessions with their furr-babies and new friendships. Many years and three adoptions later from FBR, can't think of a better rescue to be with

I got both of my dogs from Fresno Bully Rescue. They both came with wonderful temperaments and are so loved. Both dogs adore my grandkids and are so happy when they come over. FBR stuck by me when I had a problem with being able to walk the big guy (Kermit) with free training and now I am much more confident with him and he no longer pulls like a mack truck! I recommend them highly!

As with all no kill shelters, they go above and beyond to help dogs in need. They go one step further though by helping those misunderstood breeds. Those breeds that get a bad rap from the media. On top of that, they do their best to educate others to help in the fight against BSL and to stop all the incorrect and non-factual information being spread by those who refuse to take the time to experience and learn the truth about these wonderful dog breeds. I adopted my first pit bull mix over 15 years ago and instantly fell in love with the breed. Since then I have rescued four more pit bulls and I honestly can not see myself ever owning another breed except a pit bull again. And shelters like Fresno Bully Rescue give dogs like mine a fighting chance to find their forever homes.

One more thing that shows how much they care about dogs. Although I do not get to volunteer as much as I would like, I do go when I can. Now they may not remember me by name, being that there are so many volunteers that walk through those gates, but a few of them do remember, quite amazingly, the stories of how each of my pibbles came into my life, as well as the story of how I lost my Mazi, my angel. To me, that shows just how much they care about animals. Not just their four-legged family members, but those of others as well.

To the Fresno Bully Rescue staff and all their incredible volunteers, you are truly amazing. Words can not express my appreciation for everything you do and what you stand for. I am forever grateful that you have allowed me to be a part of your team.

Fresno Bully Rescue is a fabulous rescue working with our area's over population of "bully" breed dogs. Their facility is beautiful and they work tirelessly for the breed. They educate the community and find great homes for these pups that need them so bad. I have rescued twice from them and will continue to rescue from them in the future. The best dog I have ever owned came from FBR.

I can't say enough good things about the Fresno Bully Rescue. They are so great with their dogs, their facility, and placing the pups in good homes. I am a 2 time FBR adopter and will continue to adopt from them in the future. They provide this community such a great service by raising awareness for the breed. Please consider then when looking for your next family member.

After I moved to the Central Valley I immediately looked for a shelter/rescue to volunteer at.
I am so happy I found Fresno Bully Rescue!!! This well run, clean, dedicated, loving rescue is totally about the highly misunderstood bully breed dog. I have owned and fostered Pitties and they are loving, precious pups! FBR is driven to not only rescue and find loving homes for these dogs, but to educate the public on all the positive qualities inherent in Bully breeds. Please support Fresno Bully Rescue!

My sister has been a volunteer at the Bully Rescue for a few years and I have visited a few times. I follow them on Instagram . One day they had posted a picture of 2 of their dogs Murphy and Sophie. I fell in love with Sophie immediately. I called my sister to ask what I needed to do to adopt Sophie. She put me in touch with Terese the adoption coordinator. She was so helpful. I don’t live in Fresno so I wasn’t sure how it would all work. Terese walked me through everything. They take such good care of the dogs. It is an amazing place . This is Sophie and my granddaughter.

Fresno Bully Rescue is absolutely AMAZING! I was looking for a new rescue to start volunteering at this year and after attending a few orientations at different places, I knew I found my match with FBR! This is the one place I leave with a full heart instead of in tears in my eyes for the animals I'm leaving behind. These dogs are so well taken care of, LOVED, bathed, LOVED, exercised, LOVED, fed well, and did I mention LOVED! Also, my cousin was looking to adopt so she adopted here, a beautiful big boy named Sherman (Tank). They do home studies and really talk to potential adopters to make sure they do everything to help guarantee a lasting home for their dogs. They took the time to help introduce current family pets to the new doggy to make sure everything went smooth with introductions. They really do have the dogs best interest at heart. I just can't say enough great things about FBR and if your looking for a new furry family member or an amazing place to volunteer...this is it!

We adopted our dog Eddy just over a year ago. He was found hungry and homeless living behind some dumpsters at a UPS. He was malnourished and very dirty. The Fresno bully rescue took him in. They trained him in basic commands and how to behave in public. When we got him he had never lived in a home and was fearful of his reflection in glass and among other things. When we contacted the bully rescue about this they provided us information on a trainer. They not only take in and save hard-to-place animals, pitbulls and Bully breeds but they help them to be their best selves. Eddie has become the neighborhood mascot and more importantly a huge piece of our hearts. I could not ask for more gentle, sweet and well-behaved dog all due to the Fresno Bully Rescue who saved his life. They are amazing selfless people who work tirelessly to help these beautiful dogs.

My old dog had passed away and we were looking for a new family member. We explained what we were looking for and we were introduced to Eddy. He was quirky and so fun that we fell instantly in love. He had never lived in a home and was fearful but this rescue put us in touch with a trainer that helped us understand him. We could not love him more and he is so happy!
