Mission: To preserve and protect the endangered land and natural resources in the watersheds of northern chester county, pennsylvania, for present and future generations.
Programs: To preserve and protect endangered land and natural resources in northern chester county. The trust is a community-based organization working collaboratively with individual landowners, local, county and state government, and other conservation organizations. To date we have:- permanent protection of approximately 6,202. 365 acres of open agricultural or natural land through 157 conservation easements through donated and purchased conservation easements and public/private partnerships, monitoring of all easements and 17 parcels, totaling 142 acres held in fee- created greenways and trails along the french and pickering creek- monitored annually all land protected by trust easements- educated landowners in best land stewardship practicesin 2014 the organization added 2 easements totaling 16 acres of land in northern chester county. Educated easement landowners in best stewardship practices through several educational events and distribution of educational handbook (approximately 150 people served)
