Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals

Mission: Freeman Arabian Ranch & Rescue is a primarily self funded, 100% volunteer and donation based, GFAS Verified, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing loving, caring, forever rescue/sanctuary to horses, dogs and cats with special emphasis on individuals who might be considered by some to be undesirable due to advanced age, medical conditions, behavioral issues, imperfections or physical limitations. These animals become permanent members of our sanctuary family and live out their lives with us never knowing hunger, neglect, cruelty, fear or abandonment ever again.

Results: Since becoming a 501(c)(3) in 2015, we have provided lifetime care and sanctuary to twenty three animals, sixteen currently including five horses, five dogs, five cats and one bunny.

Target demographics: We help all animals but especially horses, dogs and cats.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year, our Community Assistance Program helped trailer three horses to safety, donated hay to dozens of horses, rescued a stray kitten in need of medical care, searched for a missing donkey and assisted with the rehoming of an 18 year old Arabian gelding.

Programs: In addition to rescue, we offer a Community Assistance Program and several animal welfare and educational programs regarding responsible pet ownership. We transport and foster for other rescues and advocate for new and improved animal protection legislation as a means of improving the lives of more animals than we can possibly provide lifetime care for ourselves. We enjoy collaborating with other rescues, shelters, animal welfare organizations and law enforcement to aid animals in any way we that are able.

This is an organization managed by people with extremely big hearts. I have witnessed the hard work and sweat (literally) they put into helping hundreds of horses in need. Thank you for what you do!

My husband and I went to a "work day" at the Freeman Arabian Ranch and Rescue, and met Tricia and Jeff, the owners. Not only do they give loving forever homes to rescued horses, but also to dogs, cats, and bunnies. This couple is making a difference in so many lives, both human and animals. The horses are beautifully groomed and their ranch is pristine from all their exhaustive efforts. I would highly recommend to anyone to make donations to this worthy cause.

As a donor, it is important to me to know that 100% of my donations go toward the care of the animals, no salaries, mortgage/rent, utilities, etc. I also find comfort and reassurance in knowing that once accepted into the sanctuary, each animal is loved and extremely well cared for by them personally until their final day.

This facility is a home, for our furry friends. They have dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, just a loving place that cares for those abandoned or unwanted sometimes mistreated animals. I love stopping by and brushing the horses, they are my loves. This is run by two people that have so much love to give. Please choose them for a place to donate to, and help provide a forever home for those that need them.

Tricia and Jeff Freeman are wonderful animal advocates! I've had the privilege to do their home visit when they adopted from the dog rescue I volunteer for, MidAmerican Rottweiler Rescue. They also adopted from AHeinz57, that I was lucky to help with. The rescue they have established is a wonderful place for animals to live out their lives and to have tons of loving!!!

Jeffery and Tricia Freeman of Freeman Arabian Ranch and Rescue are two of the hardest working, and caring individuals I have ever encountered. Their love and passion for animals and the well being of animals is second to none. They are compassionate and put forth quality work for the animals they take in, the treats or snacks that they make and sell to benefit the ranch. I have seen first hand the love put into the treats they've created. The care and love they have for their animals is truly amazing. They play so many roles and don't stop working, for the benefit of the many wonderful animals they have saved. They are always looking into ways to make the lives of those they've helped better. Advocating, researching, laboring, etc. Whatever needs to be done, they will do it without second guessing or regrets. Please support their Rescue Ranch, their are many wonderful animals that are in need of their assistance and their doors and hearts are always open.

Freeman Arabian Ranch and Rescue is run buy my sister and brother in law. I have never seen two people more dedicated to the cause. The animals always come first. My last visit there I got to meet there latest rescue. A 28 year old Arabian Stallion. Beautiful boy Sharron! Not many people would be willing to take that on. I am proud to know and be related to them.

This facility is a wonderful place. Every time I attend an event, or go to work there to see the fur babies, I come out smiling and feeling accomplished. The horses are my favorite, but I love all the fur babies.

I am a huge fan of this growing organization's lifesaving work. The Freeman's are such a solid duo who are doing incredible work for animals, especially horses, in a much-needed area of the United States. Contributions to this rescue are guaranteed to go directly to the direct aid of animals in need. Glad to support the horses!!!

I have spent a few years helping Freeman Arabian Ranch and Rescue by volunteering my time by helping out where it was needed when I can. I don't really have the ability to donate money, but I volunteer my time and effort for a reason. I love the way they treat the animals with respect and dignity. They also pamper them, which is something the animals have probably never had until they came to this rescue. They spend countless hours and go above and beyond at taking caring of the animals. I am an animal lover and I support this rescue 100% and would drop whatever I was doing if they needed help. Thank you for letting me be a part of this great rescue. I hope what I have contributed helps the animals as much as possible.

I met the owners of Freeman Arabian Ranch-Jeff & Tricia a few years ago through my other Rescue friends. They are great people that take excellent care of all of their Rescue Animals and also try to help other Animals in need by either educating or helping the owners with hopes they will be able to keep their pet or taking them in to their Rescue if possible or finding other Rescues to assist in placement of the animal. They are very dedicated in helping and rescuing animals and will help anybody if possible!

I have volunteered with this group and I've witnessed how much they care and love all the animals living there. They do more than just provide a secure place to live, they make them part of their family and give them a chance to thrive.
This amazing place is run by Jeff and Tricia Freeman, a lovely and hardworking couple devoted to rescue animals and advocate for their rights.
They do so much for animals that other people reject due to medical conditions, physical limitations, and discriminated dog breeds.
