I have been involved with this non-profit for over 10 years in various capacities. Over that time frame, I have seen steadfast commitment and sacrificial actions motivated by love and justice on behalf of girls trapped in sex-trafficking in India. This group has not wavered in their mission to end the practice, even when results are hard won and progress comes slowly. They are intentional about helping girls in immediate crisis, and also working within the local government and systems to affect long-term change. Their approach includes rescue, justice and restoration; and their teams remain adaptable to the unique needs they face. Another incredible quality is their ability to work within and honor local systems and culture, while seeking to affect change. The organization has grown from a partnership between foreigners and Indian nationals, to one that is now fully run by Indian nationals with support internationally from many of the same individuals who were part of its beginning in 2006. There is so much quality in this organization, and lives are literally being saved through their work.
