The Free Clinic of Powhatan is a much needed community organization for our Powhatan residents who need medical, dental, and mental health assistance when they have lost jobs, become disabled, or are having difficulty in making ends meet. They are presented with a relaxing atmosphere and caring volunteers who assist them with their medical issues, prescriptions, eye glasses and dental needs. Communication is the key to all relationships and the Free Clinic of Powhatan provides an environment conducive to this premise from the beginning registration to appointment settings w/ reminders, to treatments, follow up care, and direct contact with our medical personnel. With continued support and funding, our community once again has focused on our citizens and will be providing much needed care for years to come.
