If you had a bike growing up, do you remember the winning feeling of freedom it provided? That's the opportunity Free Bikes 4 Kidz provides over and over again for the kids in our area. This tremendous effort happens thanks to a dedicated bunch who have the joy and fun of gathering used bikes and making them new again.
I volunteered for FB4K last year for the first time and am back and recruiting more volunteers this year. What a great organization. As a lifelong bike rider myself, I know the value of learning to appreciate this life skill at a young age. Getting bikes into kids hands that otherwise wouldn't have this opportunity is such a great cause. See the smiles on the kids faces when they pick out a bike on giveaway day is priceless.
Free Bikes 4 Kidz Maryland collects and repairs old bikes and gives them to kids. It's both a charity and a recycling program. I have been involved with them since they started and I can attest that it is professionally run.

I have helped Ted since the beginning in 2019 and the level of professionalism and altruism has grown every year. Volunteers are motivated to do more and feel rewarded by the mission of FB4K. I predict that the organization will continue to grow and expand to more locations in Maryland.
