Programs: FFYC helps young people and their families overcome homelessness, poverty, developmental and psychiatric disabilities, and significant trauma. More than 95% of the young people we serve are living below state and federal poverty levels. Many are victims of extreme community and family violence, abuse and neglect. Most lack basic educational and vocational skills that would qualify them for traditional job training programs. FFYC currently operates 22 programs in California that offer a range of mental health, housing, education, and independent living services and provide a pathway to healing and self-sufficiency. Our 126-year history and strong track record have made Fred Finch Youth Center a recognized leader in the field of children and family services.
