Frankie and Andy’s Place is a most amazing spot for sugar-snouts. Penny and Pete are tremendous advocates for senior rescues.
Frankie and Andy's Place is family, be part of this program and your family just keeps growing!
My boys and I volunteer at this wonderful cabin in the woods. We have volunteered at animal control and therefore know how truly amazing Frankie and Andy's Place is! These precious dogs went from being sad, confused, lonely and scared to pampered pups at the cabin. We look forward to seeing our furry friends each week and we are grateful for Frankie and Andy's Place!
I recently started volunteering there and absolutely love the dogs and the new life they are given at Frankie and Andys, these senior dogs are so loved and respected by everyone there.
The best Of the best. We don’t know what we do without Penny and her wonderful heart and passion for dogs.
I have lost both my heart and my wife to Frankie and Andy’s Place, but I wouldn’t change a thing! This organization truly enhances and changes lives, both human and canine, all for the better!
I have never known of an animal care non-pprofit that was so compassionate and so devoted to the highest quality of care for their animals. Frankie and Andy's Place is an example to all of us on how we should treat and care for dogs.
This nonprofit is hands down the best out there. I’ve personally been involved with Frankie and Andy’s Place for the past two years and have witnessed firsthand they truly walk the walk, every day. Everyone involved is deeply committed to ensuring these seniors have the best care and opportunities to shine and spread their love to any and everyone around.
This organization by far is the most dedicated and selfless group of senior dog advocates out there. Because of Frankie and Andy's Place, these dogs are given another chance at a wonderful life with the attention, medical and health care and love that they deserve.
Frankie and Andy’s Place is a safe and loving home for homeless senior dogs to live out the rest of their lives. Once they get to the cabin, every need and desire they have is met and they are loved unconditionally! Their biggest concern is which comfy bed or couch they are going to sleep on next! Every dog should be as lucky as these sweet sugar snouts!
I have the utmost respect for The Miller’s and this lovely seniors’ home. We are not ones who trust easily, especially when it’s our dogs care. But this family has only the dogs well being- their entire well being, as priority - not just keeping them fed and safe. Their focus is giving those innocent souls a great time and the finest life possible. I’m so happy to recommend them to everyone I meet. The senior pups who are there will receive the best treatment and can live the remainder of their life knowing love and care, as all dogs deserve.
I found about this wonderful place last year and am amazed by what they do. I read so many stories about people giving their dog to a shelter when it gets to old and hard to take care of. It breaks my heart. To have a place where some of these dogs can go to live out the rest of their lives is truly beautiful. What they are doing at Frankie and Andy’s is amazing and not just for the dogs. They truly care!
Penny Miller and her husband, Pete provide a loving and caring canine 'rest home' for ailing and aged dogs to live out whatever time they have left. This is truly God at work here on earth when it comes to helping our animal friends.
Recently, I attended a Yoga class at Frankie and Andy's Place. I mean, who wants to do yoga with goats?? Yoga with dogs, however, was so much fun! Before I left, I bought a couple of their t-shirts.
Later that day, I was wearing one of the shirts when I went to grab a bite to eat. I noticed an elderly woman who was eating with a somewhat younger man and woman. She was eating her meal but didn't have much to say to the others.
When I got up to leave, she saw the logo on the back of my shirt. She asked if I worked at Frankie and Andy's place. I told her no, but I had just enjoyed a yoga class there and met a new resident, Victor Mature. She told me that she was a resident at one of the nursing homes where the dogs from F&A's Place visit. As I was waiting for my husband to join me, I heard her engage the others in an excited conversation about the dogs and how much the residents enjoyed their visits.
I know that F&A's place brings joy to many people who are like this sweet little lady.
We first found Penny & her crew through a fundraiser, then took a tour of the Frankie & Andy’s place facility. It’s a scourge on our society that senior dogs are deemed unwanted at any point in their life. We are thankful that Pete, Penny & staff have taken this mission on, giving these valued family members a place to spend their golden years in luxury & being taken care of!!
My dog and I have a close understanding of Frankie and Andy’s Place and we are aware of the hearts, minds, and intent that went into its creation. Love is at the center of the motivation for everything about this compassionate nonprofit. It’s ALL for the senior dogs who are fortunate enough to be able to live out their lives at Frankie and Andy’s Place. It should be the model for senior care of all species!
This organization takes excellent care of senior dogs in need, giving them a loving home and environment that provides comfort and care for all their needs as they age. But they don’t stop there. They reach out to the community by providing an avenue for volunteers to serve and for senior citizens to feel the love of these special dogs. To me, that’s a win-win-win!
Frankie and Andy's Place deserves 10 stars. The volunteers and staff are truly amazing. The 24 hour care these dogs receive , from the home cooked meals, weekly outing to the Senior Centers , to the Veterinary attention , just to name a few, is superior . Visit Frankie and Andy's Place to see what a wonderful environment they are providing the senior dogs.
An amazing facility that takes in discarded senior dogs left at shelters that would be unadoptable and most certainly would face death. These dogs are given a loving home and loving voluteers to work with them and love them Every day. They are treated with the love and respect they deserve in their last few years and given all the medical care they need. Some of the dogs are used as therapy dogs are going around ti nursing homes to cheer up the lives of senior adults and the adults are excited at every visit and shower the sweet senior dogs with love. Its truly a magical place, there is a reason the senior cabin has the nickname of Cocoon the dogs begin a new longer life.
what a great place - these senior dogs are loved and cared for during their final years.
I was a volunteer at our local Humane Society. One of the dogs I walked regularly was adopted to a family deemed unsuitable by the adoption agent at the shelter. The dog was chained in the yard and attacked by a neighborhood dog. He was returned to the shelter and spent a long time at the vet due to his physical injuries. The emotional injuries came later. He was fear aggressive and was going to be sent to animal control for euthanasia. A few of us got together and contacted Penny Miller, owner of Frankie and Andy's Place. She agreed to work on rehabbing this poor fellow. All credit is due to Penny Miller for helping this guy find his way again and find a loving home. I can't encourage you enough to help keep this agency up and running.
