Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: To form a mutual association of businesses and a business league for the purpose of educating its members on supporting business in the association area and other related activities.
Programs: Fat (frankfort avenue trolley) friday nights are held once per month where free entertainment and trolley rides are provided in order to bring people to frankfort avenue to shop.
faba provides to the public a booklet titled "guide to frankfort avenue" that includes information about the area as well as advertising for area businesses.
faba holds a santa sprint and stroll which is a 5 kilometer run and walk to benefit the work of united crescent hill ministries.
faba holds an easter parade down frankfort avenue to foster community spirit and bring people to the street to support the merchants. Candy is distributed to the public at no charge and awards are given to community leaders.
faba members volunteer to sell beer and t-shirts at the old fashioned 4th of july picnic organized by the crescent hill community council (chcc) and open to the public. All profits are donated to the chcc, a 501(c)(3) organization.
faba holds an old tyme christmas event which is open to the public and held to foster community and promote the member businesses. It includes a running race and free horse tram rides. Profits are donated to the united crescent hill ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization.
