Mission: Fox Valley Ferret provides care to homeless ferrets arriving through area humane associations and private surrenders, while working to find permanent homes for these ferrets. We have NEVER turned away a ferret regardless of health or temperment. Rehoming efforts have taken the form of adoption awareness dates at area Petco and Pet Supplies Plus stores, referrals from humane associations, posters in animal related business, a website, and word of mouth. In addition, Fox Valley Ferret is dedicated to educating prospective adopters and providing advice to ferret owners via phone calls and email, participating in animal related functions and expos, and making informational presentations to interested groups.
