Mission: Gnhc promotes the well-being of our community by providing a full range of affordable quality primary and preventative health care in an environment that fosters dignity and respect.
Programs: Family medicine provided 13,873 medical care visits from july 1, 2013 through june 30, 2014. Family medicine care includes well adult and well child check-ups. We also care for a significant number of patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
the gnhc dental clinic provided 6,411 dental care visits from july 1, 2013 through june 30, 2014. Dental care includes cleaning by a dental hygienist and visits with one of three dentists. Gnhc provides cleaning, fillings, and extractions. Further examinations may result in root canals, crowns, or dentures if the patient chooses.
the pre-natal department provided 1,588 prenatal visits from july 1, 2013 through june 30, 2014. Our certified nurse midwives provide low-risk pre-natal care with those requiring care for high-risk pregnancies transferred to baylor college of medicine.
