Fostering kindness is amazing. As a foster parent myself, it brings me great joy when agencies help and care about helping children.

The team at Fostering Kindness are AMAZING! They are such a blessing, they never hesitate to help and have such huge hearts for children in care. Words can not express just how much we love and appreciate them. They bring so much joy to the children they help, please support them.

I am so happy to see this non profit doing such wonderful things for so many young people bring light to their lives and spreading love. Genuinely great organization!

The amount of love Fostering Kindness Corp has shown our children and teens in the system, who need to feel seen and heard, is just astounding. They provide the most important necessities that they very seriously lack, and then surprise them with things that are personal and thoughtful as well. This nonprofit is essential and I hope they are here for many years to come.

This corporation has helped, blessed so many kids in Foster Care that feel left out, lonely, forgotten. However, Fostering Kindness makes sure birthdays, holidays are not forgotten.. These kids need more of this kind of caring and love from absolute strangers that care enough to send gifts (love) they need so badly.

Alison is the BEST! She puts so much thought, effort, and intention into everything she does and is a dream partnership for our team and agency. We've been able to make 18th birthdays special and not scary for our young adults aging out of foster care and have even been able to make youth who newly entered foster care feel cared for through Alison's comfort bags. I don't know what we would do without Alison's consistent support. We are forever grateful!

Fostering Kindness is an amazing organization supporting some of our community’s most vulnerable - kids in foster care.

A follow up review to what I shared last year...you can also choose to make a monthly donation thru PayPal or Venmo. I would get overwhelmed in wanting to buy from each wish list posted on Facebook, but the monthly donation builds a bank for Fostering Kindness. Sometimes they'll receive a last minute request and Alison cannot post a wish list, but she can turn to this bank and go shopping for the child. I love the open communication they have with their donors and supporters. This is why I love Fostering Kindness, I know of the impact I am making with my monthly donations.

This charity recognizes the need for teens in foster care to feel loved and supported. As a donor, I love seeing comfort bags with items like fuzzy blankets, journals, and playing cards going to young people who have been removed from their homes. I appreciate the thoughtful way that each child's birthday is celebrated, not with generic gifts but with items that are personal to the individual. The organization goes above and beyond to send comfort and care directly to these teens during a difficult time in their lives.

I have donated to Fostering Kindness a few times after seeing their first hand accounts on FB of the services they provide. The recipients of their services are listened to, cared for, and provided for within Fostering Kindness’ abilities. A great feeling to help out a local organization helping local kids!

I am a Medical Foster Care Social Worker and found this program two days before the teen in need’s birthday. I wasn't expecting them to be able to do anything because of the last minute contact, but the owner went above and beyond to shop for him and deliver the gifts to me. The gifts were very special and thoughtful to what the teen needed and wanted. He was shocked and delighted to receive the gifts and it made his day extra special. I was also given comfort bags with goodies for the other age groups of kids that I serve. The bags contained a blanket, stuffed animal, pillow case, and other age appropriate gifts. I am very impressed by Fostering Kindness and the amazing owner!!

This organization works to help make teens transition into foster care a little bit easier by providing comfort bags when they arrive in a home or group home. They further make sure their birthdays and holidays are celebrated and these kids are reminded that they are loved. They help educate the public on what these children face. Girls not able to get bare necessities like bras and panties, boys without basic personal hygiene products, 18 year olds being aged out of the system and having to move out on their own. By purchasing items from their Amazon wishlists, I know and see from pictures shared, that the items I purchased went to the teem intended for. I get to see exactly where my donations go. It warms my heart to be able to see how my donation put a smile on a teen.

Alison does wonderful work. Being a foster parent I have witnessed what one of her birthday care packages does for a child. I have also had that opportunity to partner with her to impact more children that we both serve.

I saw Alison Spaulding featured on a local news program earlier this year. She was such an inspiration on how a little kindness can change a child’s world . This is such a needed and meaningful children’s charity in a world where foster children can be left behind. I hope that Fosteringkindness.org can be financially supported and surrounded by individuals and business communities that do such good things.

I have been honored to see the hard work and dedication that this organization has given many communities throughout the years. There is so much detail into everything they do because they listen to the information/need provided. Fostering Kindness is an example of what an organization should be doing for the youth in need! I love this organization that puts 1000% into making sure foster children and those turning 18 are cared for. I can't tell you how many times I've read about the birthday celebrations they have that I get goosebumps. They go as far as to try to reunite siblings and past friends from other homes to celebrate with them. Essential care packages are delivered as soon as possible and most receive the gifts on day of arrival. Having their own pillow, soft fluffy blanket, hair accessories, deodorants etc. not having to share and for girl's personal items. I just wish I had the funds to give more.

This is a wonderful nonprofit that is dedicated to making the lives of central Florida's foster children better. To lessen the trauma entering foster care, thy provide comfort packs. To let children know that they are valued, they provide customized birthday presents...for many of these forgotten children, this is the first birthday gift they have received.

I have had the pleasure of working with this nonprofit for almost a year now and let me just say, W O W! I am so blown away by how determined Fostering Kindness Corp. is in making a difference in the lives of our youth and young adults with experience in foster care. We need more people like them in the world. Seeing our young people's faces light up when they receive their gifts is so special. Very fortunate to be able to work with them!!

I work as a Child Advocate Manager for the Guardian ad Litem program in Florida. The children I serve and advocate for have benefited from the good work of Fostering Kindness. Alison and her followers personalize birthday gifts for our precious teens, arrange group home birthday parties with favors for all of the children in the home, and provide comfort packs and Christmas gifts. I have witnessed the joy, the smiles, and the amazement felt by these children when they receive their gifts. Overwhelmingly, they say they can’t believe that people out there care that much. People they have never met. There are many jaded and hurt children in the foster care system. Many who have given up. Alison’s mission is to change this and give them a sense of what it is to have strangers care. For teens, this is life-changing, and goes a long way to restoring their faith and hope as they mature into adults.

I have never seen an individual and small organization work so hard to help so many people. Alison thoughtfully and kindly picks out gifts for individual children, based on their likes and interests. She packs the bags beautifully and makes each occasion so special for the children. Alison donates an incredible amount of time, effort and money to this organization and is as close to a saint/angel I have ever seen.

Alison does an amazing job of making sure each individual receives personalized gifts selected just for them. For some children, these are the first gifts they have ever received. This amazing non profit helps local foster children in all the ways it can.

Teens in foster care have gone through and lost so much in their lives. With the help of FK community donors and the work of Founder Alison Spalding, Fostering Kindness gives foster teens the feelings of being loved and cared for that they deserve. These teens, who often leave original or other foster homes with little to nothing, are provided necessary items in FK’s Comfort Packs that include pillows, blankets, and hygiene products. Because teens need fun as well, Fostering Kindness also provides them special and individualized birthday and graduation parties and gifts.

Alison has built relationships with Social Workers and Guardians Ad Litem to make this happen. Fostering Kindness lets us help them allow foster teens to feel valued, worthy, and encouraged.

I met Allison when I was in elementary school. We lost touch but reconnected as many do, on Facebook. Over the years I saw her posting about her desire of wanting to make an impact on the lives of others. One day, she found a way to make it happen and started Fostering Kindness.

I made various contributions throughout the years and was able to see how such simple gestures made a difference in their lives of children that don't even have the because of Allison and her love of humanity, these children are able to see some positivity and hopefully, one day able arrive at a place of love, healing, and kindness at the end of their tunnel.

Alison is tireless in her efforts to support children in foster homes by having a personal, special birthday. Many of these kids have never had ‘special’ birthdays, and it really means a lot to them! Her efforts and energy are truly appreciated.

I am a Guardian ad Litem in Volusia County. I met Fostering Kindness 3 years ago in it’s infancy. Fostering Kindness provides personalized birthday gifts for teens in foster care. By asking a few key questions of people who know the child she builds a gift bag like no other. For children in group homes she provides a gift for the child and party bags for all other children in the house along with a party. She pays close attention to make sure that all of the children in the group home are recognized on their birthday. I see the look in their eyes, the smile on their face when the bags arrive. I hear things like, “how did you know?”, “wow you really know me”. If only for a moment that child has a moment of normalcy. A time when they feel like other children. Fostering Kindness provides gifts that inspire creativity and help to develop interests that the teen has developed. In 3 years Fostering Kindness has provided gifts to so many teens and some teens through no fault of their own have not found permanency and she has provided gifts for 3 years in a row.,

There are not enough words to describe the wonderfulness of Fostering Kindness! Alison is truly an inspiration to any and all she meets!

Fostering Kindness does a great service to keep these kids on a positive path to adulthood. Alison is very nice and helpful. She really does her homework finding out what the kids need or want to make their life in foster care the best it can be.

Fostering Kindness makes helping easy. All items are on an Amazon list and ship directly to the organization. Comfort packs for emergency situations are always on hand. Birthday gifts are specific to each child. It is an easy and efficient way to help the most vulnerable members of our community.

Fostering Kindness provides such generous, personalized and supportive birthday gifts packed up in a giant gift bag to foster kids. The kids I've worked with have been stunned to receive such recognition of their birthday, and thrilled with their gifts. Most had never gotten gifts, or had a birthday party. The organization goes out of their way to find out a child's wishes, interests, even favorite color. If the child lives in a group home, an entire party is provided, including food and favor bags for each of the other residents , and even nurturing gifts for the staff. It's all top notch to help these kids feel special on their birthday. What a wonderful mission, and so well done!

I love working with this group. They do wonderful work treating teen foster kids with kindness and respect. The stories we hear are heartwarming. Sometimes the birthday gifts they get are the first time they’ve even had their birthdays celebrated or the first time they’ve received a gift. And Alison, the coordinator, goes out of her way to customize to the individual child. This can be life changing for some of these kids - just being noticed for the first time. I can’t say enough about Alison’s dedication to this group and what great work is being done.

I am normally a sceptic when it comes to donating. This lady and her organization do work others should also do. She brings a smile, if only for a brief moment, to children who have been discarded and forgotten. By showing there are people out there that do care, the work she does, could very well tilt the scale between upstanding citizens and repeat offender. She has tears you'll never see, with wings large enough to carry a big heart. She is sincere and honest I can assure you.

Alison worked with me when I was in foster care. She helped me though some tough times and always cared for her kids. She also helped me and brother as he transitioned out of foster care. This company made it possible for my brother
