We need more non-profits that enrich and better lives of children. The epidemic of children in trauma is out of control and we need to support those who are making it better. Way to go!!
I love how this nonprofit organization is making a difference in the lives of many children. Coming from Foster Care myself, I really appreciate how you all take time out of your busy days to help support the needs of those vulnerable!
So excited to see this group, its members and their dedication to our most precious gifts, children. Their desire to meet needs, surround the children and families all while increasing awareness and gaining a better understanding of the process is much needed.
So proud to be involved with an organization working to better the lives of our vulnerable and at-risk children through direct and indirect services. These children need adults who not only care, but are not afraid to speak up and advocate for them. The collaborative approach Fostering Hope takes encourages and supports a stronger community of caring for our children.
I was introduced to Holly and Invisible Kids Project through a coworker. She is an amazing one woman show, working tirelessly for foster awareness. Me and my family are becoming more active and trying to find how we can best help. Through love patience and perserverance, we want to be better ambassadors for IKP and all of the children and families they assist and help.
Bringing the subject into mainstream conversations with everyone we know. The more you talk about it, the stronger the will and want of the public will grow. Our local communities and governments will have no choice but to address the situation head on. IKP and Holly are here to help guide them and better educate them about the struggles of the "system". Let them help!
Little voices that cannot be heard over a crowd need a champion; fighting the battles on their behalf. Love and empathy are organic values. We are all born with them. We need to encourage these values in our daily lives and communities. With consistent attention and support, they will grow strong and big (much like the roots of a mighty tree). This is what IKP can do for the foster system. Grow, flourish, bloom and spread. The least we can all do is give it a little love and attention.
