Mission: Our mission is to “Help the Helpers,” which means providing support and resources to organizations and people who educate and assist students, while directly engaging the community and providing direct programming to foster hope and guidance.
Results: • Providing meals that are nutritious and appealing while being served by caring professionals in a friendly atmosphere. • Prioritizing the connection and well-being of our children and community. • Creating a culture of care in which growth and well-being are prioritized, and all feel safe, connected, supported, engages, and valued, both individually and collectively. • Ensuring homeless children having access to education and other services that meet the same standards to which all students are held. • Ensuring all high school students of every race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and all socioeconomic levels have the accurate information, tools, knowledge, and opportunity to attend the best colleges in the country. • Extending connectivity to students from underserved communities who need to participate in distance learning due to COVID-19 and related school closures. • Teaching families how to use digital platforms to give them a head start while colleges are employing online-only classes. • Getting 99%-100% of our students into some College (Technical, Vocational, community, junior, or universities). • Ensuring children have access to academically enriching activities, which helps close the opportunity gap between higher-income and lower-income families. • Involvement in the school community at large with participation in committee, department, and staff meetings to benefit our underserved students.
Target demographics: Homeless students and their families as well as underprivileged and lower socioeconomic high school students in the Central Florida area.
