Programs: We unite the watercolor journeys of artist-explorer tony foster in powerful exhibitions that inspire people to connect with wilderness. These exhibitions, along with supplementary materials, are available for loan to museums and other public venues. Tony fosters paintings on wilderness themes, and their accompanying souvenirs and journals, document one mans deeply felt experience and resonate with a fundamental human need to connect with the earth. His process is compelling and his work unique. We believe that viewing a watercolor journey in its entirety provides powerful inspiration. The paintings suggest intriguing connections with other artworks, artifacts and collections, and they appeal to a broad audience. Traveling throughout the four corners region of the southwestern united states between 2009 and 2012, tony foster documented the beauty of the natural landscape and his experiences of the areas rich blend of cultures and faiths.
