I recently returned from a trip with Forward Edge to Oaxaca, Mexico. The trip was absolutely life changing. I was so impressed with the work they are doing in Oaxaca specifically how much programming they can offer to a large amount of families for a small amount of money. Every penny (or peso) is put to good use. The staff in the field (both Mexican nationals and American missionaries) serve with genuine hearts, working for the good of the community from sun up to sun down. The cost of our trip provided not only our room and board, but also provided money to work on a water project including paying local workers to come in and do the work. I love that this ministry supports local community members in bettering their community. I plan to return to Oaxaca with Forward Edge every year, and I am committed to helping them find more child sponsors and raise money to eventually be able to open a school for the students they work with. After being in the field with Forward Edge, I am 100% confident that they are using their money with complete integrity and limiting their overhead in order to put as much money as possible into the field. I recommend them with great enthusiasm.

We choose to support Forward edge in every way possible. Through one time donations at their annual fundraiser to monthly contributions to their child sponsorship programs. We even support their affiliate fundraising efforts like SAHSAC (Sell a Home Save a Child). The reason we choose so support FEI through all of these various avenues is because giving to FEI has a direct impact on children's lives. Unlike other organizations, the money you give goes directly to the children or specific life improvement projects. You can even help put your money to work by being a part of a mission trip. Wonderful organization serving a wonderful need.

Amazing organization! Truly caring people who are making life-changing differences in the lives of people all around the world. I attended one of their benefit dinners and was moved to tears hearing about the work they are doing and the impact they are making.

I’ve gone on multiple missions trips with differing organizations. I believe my trip to Nicaragua with forward edge was the most impactful trip for myself and those we were serving. What stood out to me the most was the morning devotions and time of worship our team shared, it was a daily reminder of who’s in charge and who we’re serving. It truly kept us grounded in our mission and bonded us as a team. Our team leaders confidently lead our team, even with unpredictable circumstances, they reminded our team of the heart of why we were there, to serve well. Even in the uncertainty, they were level headed and organized which enabled us as a team to serve in a much stronger capacity. I never felt lost on the trip, I felt like I was in good hands under the leaders so I was able to serve in the way I felt God was directing me. I highly recommend forward edge to anyone wanting to serve of all ages.

With more than 35 years of experience, and a commitment to learning from both challenges and victories, I've never been more certain that my investments (going on 20 years) are being put to the best possible use. Forward Edge humbly serves with excellence, integrity, and transparency. Relationships are key--first with God, then with those they serve and those they send. The leadership is committed to the foundation of seeking God in all things and then employing Best Practices sought from their peers in missions, ministry, the Church, and business--all to the glory of God. I highly recommend partnering with them in whatever way you are led.

My wife and I have been serving as volunteers with Forward Edge for 14 years now. It is rare to find such a cumulation of good-hearted people who deeply love Jesus and are willing to give so much of themselves for the sake of others. This is especially true of the in-country people you serve alongside of on a Forward Edge short-term mission trip.

Not only is the work they're doing so important in helping relieve poverty and develop communities, they are very intentional and personal - both with those they serve and their donors. They really care about everyone and show it.

I have been supporting Forward Edge for over 15 years. In all that time, they have continued to be honest, transparent, committed, and consistent in their ministry to the under resourced children and families around the world. They are a great organization to partner with that is committed to providing opportunities for people like me to engage in helping others.

Couldn’t have asked for a better organization to serve with. Every member of the FE team (both stateside and abroad) were so helpful with the process and passionate about the people they serve. Looking forward to planning another time of serving alongside FE.

I have been involved with Forward Edge for almost 10 years now and in the last 2 years have increased my involvement. I went with Jeff Thompson and a team to Uganda to serve with their team working in Kampala and the surrounding regions. I was blown away with how much good such a small team was able to accomplish on a modest budget. Their work there changes the lives of over 500 kids in the slums and poor parts of the region. I was changed by the experience and can't recommend Forward Edge highly enough.

I have gone on 6 Mission trips with Forward Edge teams that have been life changing for me. I sponsor a girl in Nicaragua where they take care of girls who had been living at a dump. This organization changes lives through helping the homeless, feeding the needy, restoring homes from disaster...being the hands and feet of Jesus and sharing His love in the US, Nicaragua, Cuba, Haiti, Mexico, and Africa.

I've been on several Forward Edge mission trips, and each one has exceeded my expectations. I love seeing how well the local staff are cared for by the organization, and appreciate how they value long-term community partnerships/involvement. It truly feels like a family!

I have been involved with Forward Edge for nearly 12 years. During this time I have traveled to numerous locations, bringing teams God has hand-picked to serve Him through Forward Edge. Jesus ALWAYS showed up in ways team members have never seen, heard or witnessed in their lives before. When stepping out of one’s comfort zone, that is where God does his best work.

Regardless of our own economic situation, when we serve those who are marginalized and vulnerable, God moves in the hearts of those who are being served, but just as powerfully, He moves in the hearts of those he hand-picked to serve the least of these.

Team members return from their Forward Edge mission trip experience, with new eyes, new ears and a renewed heart to serve those in their midst, in their church or in their own community. They step into the gap serve the needs around them. Some started a food pantry for those in their own community that are in need. Students return and start a sock or underwear drive in their school to donate to the local shelter. Team members simply respond to what God is calling them to do as a result of their mission trip experience with Forward Edge.

We started sponsoring a child for every home we sell in our Real Estate team at the beginning of this year and have loved this experience! We love receiving letters from the children we sponsor with pictures and writing back and forth with them. I love seeing what Forward Edge Int is doing to help vulnerable children and their families!

I worked as a fundraising consultant for FEI. I got to see the behind-the-scenes workings of the organization. FEI is an organization that has so much integrity and care for their donors. I really appreciated working with them. The work they do is amazing and they are responsible stewards of the financial gifts made to them.

I traveled to Haiti with Forward edge. Such a great organization! I sponsor a child through them and even though I haven't received a letter and it took a while to receive my packet, I know God is doing amazing things through forward edge and their customer service is amazing! Friendly staff !

Thank you Jazmen! And again, we apologize that it took a while for you to receive your sponsor packet. It's not a normal occurrence, and we apologize it happened that way for you. Thanks for your understanding! And more importantly, thank you for your service on a mission team, your investment in a child through sponsorship, and your continual support of the work God is doing through Forward Edge! You are a blessing!

I have been working with Forward Edge and their ministry in Nicaragua for a couple of years now. They have been instrumental in helping our church form a partnership with a local church in Nicaragua. Forward Edge's knowledge of the local people and culture has been extremely valuable. They put relationships first and that is so important. I've lead 2 teams, and helped with a 3rd all from my church. Every team has had a unique experience, but the one thing that everyone has been touched by is the relationships they have formed. One of the most common comments from returning member is how they loved working with the people they came to serve, rather than for them. Everything about Forward Edge is relationship based. Our relationship with God, our group, and with those we meet.
