Villas FuNfrai$er committee organized a fun Fall Festival event on Nov 14th, 2020 which benefited the rehabilitation of Villas Civic Association. A caring community that makes it a wonderful place to raise your children.

The Fort Myers Villas Educational Literacy & Charitable Institution provides a valuable service to our community. The volunteers dedicate their time and resources to oganize events and fundraisers to help build our community.

Just a few examples; they have added a playground, provided supplies and backpacks to neighborhood school children and have plans to expand the community park. From their donations, they award scholarship funds to dedicated neighborhood college students.

The volunteers work tirelessly and are constantly planning activities and events for neighborhood interaction for children, adults as well as pets! A great group of people!

I've lived in this neighborhood for 30 years and have always loved it. I'm finally getting involved with the FMVELC and am extremely happy I have done so. The board and the members are a very passionate group. The variety of events, fundraisers, community outreach projects, charitable initiatives, etc is outstanding.

This organization serves the residents of the area known as the Fort Myers Villas in which my wife and I are privileged to live. It organizes a number of activities each year to serve the residents and the community at large. When looking for a home to buy, we talked to friends who had lived in the community for years and they strongly encouraged us to look for a home here in part because of the work of this organization. We are thankful that they did.

This non profit is located in the center of our neighborhood and has a lovely park. We bring our kids to their playground all the time. They host fun free events for kids! We always attend the Easter Egg Hunt. They collect donations for food banks and charities for abused children. They give out free backpacks and school supplies for children that we may sign up for next year!

While I have lived in the Fort Myers Villas for a long time, it wasn't until the last few years that I have been an active volunteer. The FMVELC is a volunteer run organization helping Villas neighbors and doing outreach to Ronald McDonald House, Children's Advocacy Center; along with food drives and bringing the community together with special onsite events. Community spirit through holiday events, social gatherings and general meetings to discuss our neighborhood, have been special memories my family will always have. We've enjoyed meeting neighbors and making friends throughout the years and look forward to the continued growth of the Association.

I have been living in the neighborhood that this nonprofit serves and have worked with them for almost three years. They serve our neighborhood and raise money for scholarships and to help kids in the neighborhood with school supplies. They also put on events to bring the community together and provide a beautiful playground and park for over twelve hundred homeowners!
