I am a senior at Harvard, for the last two years I have interned with Forever Young Foundation in Ghana, Africa working with the Ezekiel Ansah Foundation. The time spent over there has been memorable, actually life changing. We supported the Forever Young International Schools, their Ghanan health initiatives, their micro credit loans, as well as a camp that taught over 500 Ghana academic athletes the game of American Football.Forever Young Foundation supports so many valuable initiatives in Ghana. Understanding that support in health, business growth, academics, and outdoor athletic activities are paramount to their development. I found it powerful to witness first hand how they involve those living in the Ghanan communities, providing opportunities to learn from health, business, academic, and athletic experts and incorporate into their communities when our teams left as they deemed fit. Ezekiel Ansah is still involved in his home of Ghana and supporting his efforts to work with the youth living in his home town continues to be amazing.
Amazing Foundation! Great people doing special things for children in need. I’m proud to be affiliated with the Forever Young Foundation as they continue to make an impact in peoples lives.
Forever Young Foundation has been a valuable partner of Wasatch Adaptive Sports' for many years, and WAS would not be the organization we are today without the Foundation's incredible support. It is clear through everything the Foundation does that the focus is on direct, one-to-one service and impact for the individuals they reach and the organizations they support. The Foundation's leadership team are dedicated partners in WAS's work and do all they can to see our organization and the students we serve thrive. THANK YOU Forever Young Foundation - the work you do is truly life-changing!
I have had the privilege and honor to work with Steve and Barbara on behalf of The Forever Young Foundation for over a decade. Their personal attention, deep passion and selflessness for supporting young children and families in need is impressive and inspiring. Tirelessly bringing hope, laughter, lyrics and love are gifts they continue to share to as many as need them. I’m so grateful and humbled by the work they do for so many, and not just in their personal community. They outstretch their arms, with the help of an amazing staff in hopes to make the difference people need. This organization is full of angels.
The Forever Young Foundation team is first class!
What they are doing in the STEM/STEAM world with their 8to80 zones is cutting edge and they are truly making a difference in the lives of kids in underserved communities- by giving them access to technology that has now been made available to them thanks to the FYF Team.
I look forward to working with them in the future on many more projects.
Sophie's Place creates miracles in the lives of sick children. I was there last week and witnessed patients and their families have BIG miles on their faces thanks to the music from Aj McClean with the Backstreet Boys. Music Therapy brings hope and healing and the Forever Young Foundation is healing kids on miracle at a time through Sophie's Place.
I've had the opportunity to support the Forever Young initiatives at a number of their fundraiser events over the years. I love their support of local children's hospitals, specifically focused on music therapy. And, they're focused on getting limited mobility people back into an active lifestyle.
This organization has an incredible group of people working to improve the lives of many and we are extremely proud to be associated with them, collaborating in serving communities and children in need with legends pro athletes!
The Forever Young Foundation is one of the most forward thinking organizations I've ever had the opportunity to work with, and they have a long track record of doing so. We presented them with a vision of bringing esports arena's to underserved students across the country. We would engage the students with competitive video games, and then have a curriculum of STEAM education to prepare the students for a career in the esports industry.
They believed in us, and helped and encouraged us as we built our space. The Forever Young Foundation used their platform to help ensure the newest wing of our STEM Center would be a sustainable success.
The Forever Young Foundation goes beyond the expectations that I would have for any non-profit. The work they do not only helps individuals but also the community by bringing hope and light to seemingly dark times. I feel lucky to witness the change that comes from the scholarships they provide for at risk youth to attend treatment centers, and have the opportunity for a fresh start. I am grateful to the foundation for doing so much for all of those in need and providing a space for families and individuals to make the impossible, possible.
I love the Forever Young Foundation. I have been involved with them for numerous years. I am continually amazed at how well they align their events with their cause. The impact they have on the communities they serve and the individuals is fantastic. The individuals that run the foundation are committed to ensuring the mission of the FYF is executed fully. I would encourage all to get involved and support the Forever Young Foundation.
I’ve been involved with the Forever Young Foundation for the past few years and have been very impressed with the individuals involved, both directors and volunteers. They’re always focused on the end receivers. The events have been best in class and are motivating to all who participate. I look forward to my continued involvement in the foundation.
My husband and I have been involved with FYF for the last three years and we are still amazed by how well organized, and how well run FYF is. We love being a part of all their events and volunteering our time and resources to them as they continue the amazing work they’re doing.
The Forever Young Foundation is one of the most wonderfully supportive organizations that I have had the immense pleasure of working alongside. Our Sophie's Place at Cardon Children's Medical Center is a place of healing and joy, and we wouldn't have such a unique space to care for our patients and their families without the support of them. The Forever Young Foundation understands and supports music therapy and provides resources to help us best care for our patients throughout their hospitalization and treatment process. From special visits and activities, to their constant positivity and communication throughout the years, the Forever Young Foundation has provided experiences that we continue to be so thankful for. It is a privilege to witness what wonderful memories their support provides those at our hospital.
I have had the pleasure of working with the Forever Young Foundation for over 9 years, as they have planned and opened our Forever Young Zone and Sophie's Place at Cardon Children's Medical Center. The positive, professional and giving spirit of all representatives has been outstanding. Patients and families at our medical center have benefited greatly from the many special visits, activities and experiences this group has made possible for them. In addition to creating these exceptional spaces within the hospital, they maintain an open connection with us all year and support us in serving and creating positive memories for children and families. We are tremendously grateful to the Forever Young Foundation. Their approach is the purest definition of what serving is all about.
The Forever Young Foundation is a promise kept.
The mission of FYF - founded by NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Steve Young - is to 'pass' on hope and resources for the development, strength, and education of children. I saw a FYF run a game-changing play when I toured the Lucile Packard Childrens Hospital at Stanford. Sophie's Place provides equipment for kids to create videos and record music to broadcast into patient rooms throughout the hospital. There's also an interactive, gesture-responsive video wall where children and their families can be virtually immersed in a sensory-rich watery world. I loved seeing this brother and sister transfixed by the waving forest of kelp and fish of all sizes swimming past!
From the heart of Silicon Valley, FYF delivers state-of-the-tech experiences with a uniquely personal and winning touch!
We visited Sophie’s Place and it’s the most heart warming and moving place that we’ve been to. What they are doing there for those sick children is remarkable. The room is not like a hospital room. It’s a warm, pleasant and calming place for the children to go and forget for one moment that they’re not sick. It would be so amazing if every children’s hospital could have a place like Sophie’s place to go to. Anytime you can use alternative medicine to help these children heal, is something positive in the right direction.
I adopted 3 children from China all with special needs. Their needs require us to spend a great deal of time at Primary Childrens Medical Center. The Forever Young playroom is WONDERFUL and helps bring my children joy during such hard times. They look forward to going and playing in the playroom, doing crafts and getting a much needed distraction from their pains. We spend so much time in the playroom with every visit. We know how blessed we are to have this playroom and appreciate the Forever Young Foundation for bringing this happiness to our children.
Madelena underwent chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant 5 years ago, and the intensive regimen led her to be severely depressed and suicidal. She was being treated for a disease that robbed her of her creative outlets, as she no longer had the physical dexterity to create in the ways that she was accustomed. Her almost daily appointments with the music therapy team at Primary Children's during her month long treatment gave her something to look forward to every day, and drew her out of her depressed isolation. She wrote songs with the music therapists that gave meaning to her suffering, and allowed her to process her grief, anger, and pain in a constructive and healing way. She continued to visit Sophie's Place at Primary Children's after her treatment, and we credit their dedicated, knowledgeable, and loving treatment as the factor that made the difference in Madelena's recovery.
