I been a volunteer for this charity going on 8 years now. I couldn’t ask for a better charity to be a part of. Enjoy every opportunity I get to be with everyone.

Volunteering with FYF and WAS has been such an incredible experience. The people I have been able to meet and connect with are outstanding. The level of thought and care that goes into each thing from big events to mundane tasks is unmatched. My life has been greatly enriched from the experiences I have had here. The Forever Young Foundation is a fabulous non-profit helping thousands of children throughout the United States with various programs. Our personal favorite is Sophie's Place which brings music therapy to kids in hospitals. The smiles that this program brings to the children suffering illnesses is definitely uplifting to not just the kids but to everyone involved. We often volunteer our services to help promote the far reaching therapeutic effects that Sophie's Place brings to these children.
The other awesome program that we volunteer at is the Steve Young Ski Classic. We're looking forward to many more years of volunteering.

When it comes to professional behavior, the FYF has represented themselves clearly through their work as a team. Everything is always so organized and well done. This foundation has provided me with great experiences that I will cherish. The foundation changes many lives of people including my own.

Out of all the non-profit organizations I have been a part of, FYF has been the most rewarding and well put together experience. As soon as you walk in you can feel the excitement and passion that the foundation is working for. The FYF has an impact on kids and communities that I have never experienced with past foundations. It truly is a special thing to see the finished projects of events for these communities in need. The staff is always professional about what they do when dealing with newcomers and getting them involved as soon as possible.

I have volunteered for FYF a couple of times and I have to say that they are as professional as it comes. Everything was so organized and the staff had a direct plan of action. There were a lot of great people that I met in my experience. I certainly will volunteer again and won’t forget the things I get to be a part of.

I've had the opportunity to be a small part of the massive impact across different community focus groups: i.e. education via e labs, mental health via music therapy in children's hospitals, and physical well being via adaptive sports programming.

The Forever Young Foundation goes beyond the expectations that I would have for any non-profit. The work they do not only helps individuals but also the community by bringing hope and light to seemingly dark times. I have had the pleasure of working with the Forever Young Foundation for over 9 years, as they have planned and opened our Forever Young Zone and Sophie's Place at Cardon Children's Medical Center. The positive, professional and giving spirit of all representatives has been outstanding. Patients and families at our medical center have benefited greatly from the many special visits, activities and experiences this group has made possible for them. In addition to creating these exceptional spaces within the hospital, they maintain an open connection with us all year and support us in serving and creating positive memories for children and families. I was able to spend time raising money for this foundation in honor of my cousin who passed away from cancer. While my cousin was still with us he was served by this foundation and I wanted to give back. I was then invited to come to an event and get to know the foundation better. I found that everyone was so kind and welcoming and they truly had the best interest of others at the forefront of their minds.

I have been fortunate enough to work with this organization and see their work first hand. They are dedicated to giving everything back to the community. Their dedication to helping kids is remarkable. I attended the grand open of a children’s wing in Arizona and the integrity and the detail that was given the project was jaw dropping. This was a space that was going to change the lives of hundreds of families of sick children. There nothing I would not do for this organization.

As a volunteer for Forever Young Foundation, I am continuously impressed by the work of the organization. While headed up by the amazing Steve and Barb Young, the staff are the stars who help make everything come to pass. The time spend in Ghana, the 8 to 80 zones in hospitals across the country, and Sophie's Place for music therapy are committed to giving the heart and soul to kids in efforts for a brighter tomorrow. Steve and I started our journey together on the field and now it's been exciting to reconnect and partner in our community off the field. We have been strategically placing 8 to 80 Zones in underserved communities providing state of the art mass media equipment and mentoring deserving youth skills in writing copy, videography and producing.

We both find great satisfaction in watching the youth we serve at the 8 to 80 Zones move onto careers in the field of technology and media, hoping that we impacted their dreams and futures in some small way.

As we build more 8 to 80 Zones, our shared vision is these spaces continue to offer current unique technological educational opportunities and instill the drive to create and share their stories through the art of mass media.

The Forever Young Foundation, cleverly and with thought, seeks out needs and fills them creatively and with care, both in the US and abroad.
Clarity of mission, generosity of time and talent and finances, compassionate and considerate execution, all these these are evident in abundance in the Forever Young scope of endeavor. Most telling, however, is the absolute, unadulterated joy one sees in the faces of the children singing and making music in Sophie's Place's (healing through music found in selected Western US hospitals), or in the smiles and laughter of otherwise under served kids and families experiencing the ski slopes in Utah (winter mountain fun with snow sports and concerts) , and the open and engaged expressions of those who've tasked themselves to help. Nothing, not one thing, says more to me than the pure delight of those being served, and those doing the serving. Forever Young and the talented staff behind the scenes doing the heavy lifting allow the rest of us to meet where the need is, particularly when there are children involved, and continue along that path, together.

Forever Young stays true to their mission statement and is truly a charity of action. Donations are carefully distributed to fufill their mission statement of helping childern in need. Couldn't meet more honest and wonderful people that head up this organization.

I have enjoyed working along side of the Forever Young Foundation. Their amazing continued efforts in the communities they have served are inspiring to everyone who has had the pleasure of working with them. Their dedication to evolving and staying current with partnering charitable needs is admirable and I am excited to watch the foundation grow especially with their newest initiative Sophie's Place. I have been able to work with the staff of Forever Young Foundation, and have been continually impressed time after time. Not only with their kindness, but how they operate Forever Young. Having spent the past 2 years actively growing a foundation with a small staff, I know what to look for within an organization. I am beyond impressed with Forever Young Foundation. They continue to significantly impact lives on a daily basis both domestically and internationally. Their events are beyond first class. I have had the great fortune of participating in a number of their events and can say with confidence that very single guest in attendance is treated like a Hall of Famer. However, of all the foundation's great attributes, the most impressive aspect is how efficient and lean the foundation is run. The money that's donated goes directly to the end users. In addition, they continue to innovate and be on the cutting edge of therapy and rehabilitation through their efforts with Sophie's Place. They are among the best "celebrity" charities I have ever worked with.

I am a senior director at 1736 Family Crisis Center and have had the pleasure of working hand in hand with The Forever Young Foundation for several years because they are helping us out an 8 to 80 Zone in our newest youth shelter for homeless youth. The staff at TFTF are deeply committed to helping youth. Every time we have needed their support they have instantly been there to help us create a space for another 8 to 80 Zone. Every interaction with staff has been pleasant, educational and shown their deep commitment towards helping youth.

I love the Forever Young Foundation! They do so much good for kids around the country and world. They recently established Sophie's Place which is a music therapy program to help kids heal. I am especially grateful for Sophie's place because my 18 year old nephew Davis, who in non verbal and has tuberous sclerosis and autism, has benefitted from the amazing music therapists at Primary Children's Medical Center. One day at the hospital my sister and my nephew had 90 minutes to kill between appointments so they visited Sophie's Place. Davis immediately sat down at the piano and was SO happy to play the two notes that he always plays, C&G. One of the therapists sat down next to him with her guitar and they did a duet together which Davis loved. He even made eye contact with her and loved the experience. My nephew spends a lot of time crying to communicate because he has no other wait to express what he wants and needs. I am so grateful that Sophie's Place helped my sister have an amazing 90 minute experience with my nephew in a time that could have otherwise been very difficult!

I know first hand how awesome FYF is! In 2007 I was blessed with two beautiful twin boys born with a horrific disease known as EB. I was at the end of my rope and losing hope that I would be able to get my babies to the best physicians for their condition. Then along came FYF. They are my living angels. Some how, some way, they found out about my situation and got us out of NJ and to California to Stanford University. Although no miracle was found, I was able to get the piece of mind knowing that I did everything possible to save them. My two short months with Kyle and Zack are so precious to me. I cannot find the words, nor do I think there is any, to express my sincere gratitude to Steve Young and his amazing team and angels (Michele to this day keeps in touch with us which means so much to me)!!! During our visit to California, Steve Young let us stay in his home, supplied us with experienced help to educate us on how to care for my sons. Knowing how stressed we were, he even gave my husband and I a few hours to go out on a date, something we had not done in a very long time. I thank God everynight for bringing them to me!!!

As an educator and my husband as mental health professional, we are thrilled about children having such a wonderful outlet at Sophie's Place with music! Not only creative and innovative but especially reaching the heart of children through music expression, soulful healing and pure JOY in the midst of difficult health issues. I have been volunteering with the Forever Young Foundation for 20 years. However It doesn't take long to see the impact of this organization. You see the passion and the commitment from the staff( as Steve Young likes to say "we are lean and mean in our commitment to getting every dollar to the right place"). I've also experienced the joy that SOPHIE'S PLACE music therapy rooms have given to patients at Children's Hospitals. As the father of a severely disabled child, and a life long skier, I never imagined that I would have the joy of skiing with my daughter. Through the Wasatch Adaptive Sports program, that is supported by the Forever Young Foundation, I have been able to not only ski with my daughter, but see her experience things we never thought possible.

Due to the nature of my daughter's disability we also spend a lot of time in the hospital, and we are lucky enough to have a Forever Young Zone in our local Children's Hospital. We are often there with my daughter's siblings, and the Zone provides an incredible environment for her siblings, it makes the time spent there as a family bearable.

The Forever Young Foundation is a charity that was founded in 1993 by NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Steve Young, focused on passing on hope and resources for the development, strength, and education of children. The Foundation serves children in many parts of the world facing significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges by providing them with academic, athletic, and therapeutic opportunities currently unavailable to them. The organization is truly amazing and the work their team does is inspiring!

Steve Young's ability to connect with and inspire kids and families has been on full display since he was a player at BYU and later during his Hall of Fame NFL career. He played with a grit and determination that lifted his teams to great success and he has transferred those skills and traits to his work in the community. Now the excitement and inspiration he provides has only expanded through the great work the Forever Young Foundation has done and continues to do support children in need. The passion he has to serve children and their families is shared by his wife Barb and the entire Forever Young team and has led to impactful partnerships and innovative new programs all designed for the betterment of children. Seeing the reaction of joy children have when he and Barb visit the Forever Young Zones is incredibly uplifting. I can only imagine what kind of interaction and excitement they will generate with their new Sophie's Place music therapy initiative. With all of the challenges kids face these days, we need a lot more people like Steve and Barb Young and foundations like Forever Young to join the cause.

The Forever Young Foundation has been a wonderful supporter of the San Francisco 49ers Academy. They not only bring in valuable resources to our organization but are also hands-on involved with our students and our programs. Among other things, the Forever Young Foundation has the given us the ability to leverage partnerships and resources to serve more children than ever before. Our signature multimedia center, the 8 to 80 zone was born out of a collaborative partnership brought to us by Forever Young. We at the 49ers Academy are grateful for the ongoing, hands-on and long term support of the Forever Young Foundation. I have been associated with the Forever Young Foundation for the past five years and have worked first hand with them in their efforts to help the people and children of Africa. I love how much effort and care they put into taking care of not only people in need right here in the US, but people all over the world! They have helped educate countless adults in Ghana and continue to teach and train them on how to run effective businesses. They have aided non-profits in Ghana who in turn can benefit the people who are struggling and in need in their country. They have helped build schools, improve schools, donated countless school supplies, helped train educators to improve curriculum, provided eye exams and given free glasses to thousands, offered free services to improve non-profits and help build their business plans. They've built long lasting relationships with the people of Africa and many of them would call the Forever Young staff family. Perhaps my favorite part is that this foundation does all of this charitable work with love - showing and giving love freely to those they come in contact with. It is such an honor to be associated with the Forever Young Foundation and hope they will keep their international efforts alive!

I have been following the Forever Young Foundation for a number of years. We have attended the annual Taylor Family Foundation events - and just love all the work Steve Young & his talented network are doing. Recently, I saw the Sophie's Place music Therapy van. I was overwhelmed with the forward thinking - and how music therapy could help people in recovery. I've been spreading the word to help educate people - as I had no idea the impact this program had. GREAT job FYF for thinking outside the traditional box and reaching so many people in need. We need more of this forward thinking for our community.

I really cannot say enough for the Forever Young Foundation. They are the most professionally run foundation I work with and they do amazing things for the children in our community. Their commitment to the Taylor Family Foundation is amazing. Steve and Barbara should be proud of the team they have assembled and the change they spearhead in the community. I can't say enough great amazing things about Sophie's place. I am a mother with a child with autism and I know the importance of having music therapy. It helps our children with disabilities in ways that other therapies can not. These children can't relate though music. I just wish every children's hospital had a Sophie's Place!

I have been working as an educational consultant for the Forever Young Foundation for the past 5 years. I also teach every day in a state of the art multimedia classroom built by FYF. With funds and support from FYF, I have have been able to design and build multimedia classrooms for youth in Florida, New Orleans, Houston, Hawaii the San Francisco Bay Area. These studios have allowed these children to find expression and creativity in areas where no resources existed. Through FYF gifts, these young people have been empowered to gain professional skills, find their own voice and advocate for their communities through multimedia. I know this because FYF has sent me to each location to provide hands on training with youth and their mentors.

Forever Young doesn't do "red tape". Forever Young does results. FYF asks "Where is the need?" and "How can we fill it as quickly and effectively as possible?". I have had the pleasure to see the immediate and long term impact of FYF programs on the lives of youth. FYF sets the standard for serving today's youth with vision and creativity.

I've had the wonderful pleasure to partner with Forever Young Foundation on a variety of successful fundraising events and also serve as a volunteer for their golf tournament events. They conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, passion, care for the people they serve and are absolutely a pleasure to work with. They work with a very lean team with great efficiency and effectiveness. Their work is incredibly important to the audiences that they serve here in the US and also abroad in Africa. They are a stellar organization doing very important work with a rockstar team.

When I consider donating to a charitable organization, I first look for high fundraising efficiency and low administrative expenses. The Forever Young Foundation meets these key criteria, largely due to the generous underwriting by Steve and Barb Young.

Next, I look at the success of the underlying programs to ensure that they are effective at solving problems and improving lives. I have seen up close how the programs Forever Young supports improve children's lives.

Last, donating to Forever Young is like joining an exceptional family, where you associate with other donors and a dedicated staff that are like minded in helping others. The Foundation is so well run by such high integrity people - everyone should seriously consider Forever Young in their giving profile.

Forever Young Foundation has helped thousands of young people find hope and the often life-saving resources necessary to overcome significant personal challenges. Steve Young and his remarkable team have provided numerous scholarships for disadvantaged youth, non-profit leadership training, and healthcare resources for young people in extreme need. Forever Young's reach is international, and it has provided educational opportunities for young people as far away as Africa. In my work with those struggling with addiction, depression, and school failure, I have witnessed first-hand the tremendous social impact made possible by changing just one life. Forever Young, through its tireless work, has made life-saving and life-changing experiences a reality for many of my students, and I (not to mention their families) will be forever grateful.

I have been involved in charitable efforts much of my life, and have worked with foundations that help lift groups of people around the world. I sit on the board of African Equity, and have spent several years living in Africa working as a missionary to better the lives of people. I say this to make the point that one of my lives passions is charitable work, and I do not know of an organization that does a better job of lifting its targeted public than Forever Young.

I went on at trip to Ghana in West Africa with the FYF last year. The organization of the trip was wonderful, the people were amazing, and the impact the FYF was having was obvious everywhere we went.

I would strongly recommend getting involved with the FYF however possible. They are effective with donation dollars, organized with events and trips, and working to better peoples lives.

It is an honor to write a review for The Forever Young Foundation. My husband and I have been involved with the Foundation for almost 10 years now. We continue to be impressed with the communication and updates we recieve from the foundation regarding where all the money is being donated, and how many children are being served and blessed. It is fascinating to me to see how the foundation started out in the bay area, continued on to Arizona, and now have gone International. Can't say enough about the amazing lives they are touching over in Africa daily. The Forever Young Foundation is a solid and unique group of dedicated people working for a great cause that benefits many. They are truly a gift.

We have been working with Forever Young for over 10 years now. When working with non-profits, we often find too much disorganization to make a quality contribution. But with FY, it's the opposite. The people have been there for years, and are the industry leaders for the non-profit world. They are well organized, articulate, and make the world a better place for their contributions. With over thrity years experience as an executive in the non-profit field, I've had the privlige of working and collaboarting with many different organizations. Forever Young Foundation has always been a pleaure to interact with on behalf of my organization - Primary Children's Medical Center. From the founders to the donors, the leadership and excellent staff and volunteers, all have been genuinely interesting in partnering for the good of all involved.

We love FYF! FYF is a continuing supporter of Banner Health and Cardon Children's Medical Center. In 2006, FYF in partnership with Swift Transportation pledged $1M in support of the Through the Eyes of a Child Campaign to build our very own Forever Young Zone located inside Cardon Children's Medical Center. Our patients, families and care givers are thrilled to have to this dedicated space that is pain-free and treatment-free. It allows our patients and families to escape, even if only for a little while, from their rooms/floors to experience entertainment, movies, games and fun! Craft days, pet therapy shows, off-broadway plays, musical entertainment and live broadcasts are only a few of the many activities that fill the "Be Your Own Hero" themed Zone. We are so thankful for the continued support of FYF, Steve and Barbara Young and their many staff members and volunteers that allow us to meet the needs of our children.

Forever Young is a professional, well run organization that supports children's charities and several charitable initiatives of their own. Through their efforts they have made it possible for several nonprofit organizations to have access to some of the very best organizational training and consulting in the world. I personally have trained nearly forty charities through the Forever Young Nonprofit Institute. Each event has been "world class."

I volunteer at the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem, MA. It is a home for abused and abandoned boys aged 14-22. They had a very run down basketball court in back of the home but it was the focal point for the boys. I contacted Forever Young to help with some funding to get them a new court. Sterling Tanner, President of the Foundation, flew out from AZ to meet with the administration and look at the property. He called me to let me know they would build a sports court for the boys and a few months later the project was complete. Michelle Knox, Director of PR and marketing from the foundation, flew in from AZ for the grand opening and coordinated having some of the Boston Celtics come up and play a game with the boys. It was an absolutely amazing day for those boys and is still their favorite part of living at the Plummer Home. Basketballs can be heard bouncing on the court into the late hours of the night. It's an incredible gift and the Forever Young Foundation made it all possible. From the moment of Sterling's visit to the completion of the project, there was not a minute of stress or aggrivation. They handled everything with such grace and humility. I can't thank them enough for their generosity.
